I want to create my own logos in my live 08 so I can create patches here in the nlsc, could someone tell me what programs i need and could somebody also give me a tutorial on how to do it, a help would be really appreciated

You should check out the various tutorials posted here and in the Wiki. They'll explain the steps and the programs required.
