Depending on your system, it plays very well on the PC. And I gotta keep asking you this, why did you get it today when the PS2 version was out a long, long time ago?

as i said in the last post it's because i only had enough saved up to get it today. i was saving up for it all this time.

Interesting. I guess I don't understand why you couldn't just reduce global game speed on the PC if you found the game too fast. I have the Xbox version, and while I miss the force feedback and good gameplay, it honestly can't hold a candle to the PC game in several categories which you should know!

Anyhow, my main issue with the console had to do with the frequent slowdown at halfcourt. The reason why the Xbox and Ps2 seem alot slower is because they actually suffer from slower framerate issues. Try this as a test to emulate this occurence on the PC. Increase your graphic detail and use fraps to measure your fps. If you're hitting anything below 30fps, e.g. 25fps, you'll realize that the game pace is akin to that of the console. I discovered a whole new game on the PC once I improved the absolute minimum fps to 30fps or above by reducing player detail from maximum to high. You don't notice a difference in player appearance by making this change, BUT, the fps improves dramatically.

The console is definately not a bad game if you ask me, in fact it's rather enjoyable with the large screen TV and force feedback option, but with the right system, the PC is alot sharper and smoother not to mention the other options, making for a more enjoyable experience. .

IThe game runs buttery smooth for me on my PC with all settings high.

System Specs:

2.0a ghz P4 CPU
1024 megs of 2700 DDR Memory
Radeon 9700 Pro Vido Card
Audigy Sound Card

And yes, why didn't you just adjust the game speed in the global sliders?
