Goodbye Eddie, assistant coash Ed Tapscott is the interim coach now.

Wow. Longest serving Eastern Conference Head Coach. Another unfair dismissal. I'm sure he'll get another gig this offseason.

Hmm. i didn't expect him to be the next to be fired. Too bad. He seemed to be a good fit for the Wizards.

I was acctualy suprised it took them so long for them to fire him. I mean, first round exit 4 years in a row, if im correct, and a 1-11 start to the season. Not very enthusiastic...
Next one, Randy Wittman...

Another unfair dismissal.
1-11? With a team going nowhere in the short or long term?

How much of that is actually his fault though? Especially given the injuries the Wizards have endured over the past couple of years. Maybe it is time for a change but Eddie Jordan shouldn't shoulder all the blame for the team's shortcomings.

You can't fire the players, and management won't fire themselves.

I know this may sound stupid, but yet at the same time. It's true....
Eddie Jordan is a good coach, but it's wrong that you're team builds their focus on around Gilbert Arenas as the main core. Honestly, if he just focused on either Antawn Jamison or Caron Butler as go to players as the 1/2 options, or both as whole options where the team wouldn't feel like Arenas is a concern. I mean they also need Stevenson to step up, Blatche to step up more, have McGee to improve his game some more, Young to step up like he done back in USC before Mayo, and have Juan Dixon & Dee Brown to become more solid floor generals like they were before the NBA too.

I wouldn't call Dee Brown's lone other NBA season to be solid...or Juan Dixon to have ever been a "floor general."

I'm saying that because they need to be floor generals. We all seen them on how they played in college. Especially, Dee Brown where he was flashy playing with the names of James Augustine, Luther Head, and Deron Williams. Like Juan Dixon who's impressive on how he was back in Maryland with Steve Blake, Lonny Baxter, and Chris Wilcox.

I guess you'll have to define "floor general" then.

Okay... The point guard who suppose to control the team. Just because I said both Brown & Dixon needs to be a floor general. I really mean it although that was in college and in the NBA... I guess it's different now from being a watched star coming up to a certain role player that whoever needs on the team. My biggest guess on why Jordan got fired is because the team can't carry themselves stronger without Arenas, and yes they have Butler & Jamison. Including role players like Young, Stevenson, and Haywood. It's just the others need to step up.

someone have to be blame for 1-10 so has to be a coach. Eddie Jordan is good coach bring Wizard to the playoff
