Damn, was just about to post this. But i probably would have put those East guards in the right spot. ;) . EDIT: And then you fixed it and made me look like a foolish fool.

Marbury and Eddy Curry are on there. I think that should be the "Antoine Walker/Shane Battier" campaign for this season. Get Curry and Marbury to the ASG.

In all seriousness, this will be my first set of votes:

East

G: Derrick Rose
G: Ben Gordon
F: Paul Pierce
F: Chris Bosh
C: Dwight Howard
Write-in: Aaron Gray.

West

G: Chris Paul
G: Brandon Roy
F: Rudy Gay
F: David West
C:Tyson Chandler

The Hornets are rapidly turning into my team out West, apparently.

I'm going to ignore the bureaucratic bullshit, so how is it difficult to switch Iverson and Billups before they announced the ballots? I hate how they have retarded ballots every single year.

We can even extend the campaign to the write in votes.
Write in Sasha Vujacic!!

It's probably just the logistics of reprinting thousands upon thousands of paper ballots. As far as online ballots, yeah its pretty slack.

Yi is on the ballot. We will already have a joke starter, so there is no need for an 09 campaign.

Wed Nov 12, 2008 3:19 pm

What, Gordon is there, but Rose is not ? How'd Beasley get in there then, Rose is miles ahead.

Wed Nov 12, 2008 3:23 pm

Rose is there. mvpshaq didnt copy and paste it properly.

Here's the actual list of East Guards.

BALLOT
EAST GUARDS
Ray Allen, Boston
Gilbert Arenas, Washington
Mike Bibby, Atlanta
**Chauncey Billups, Detroit
Jose Calderon, Toronto
Vince Carter, New Jersey
Jamal Crawford, New York
Raymond Felton, Charlotte
TJ Ford, Indiana

Jameer Nelson, Orlando
Anthony Parker, Toronto
Michael Redd, Milwaukee
Jason Richardson, Charlotte
Luke Ridnour, Milwaukee
Rajon Rondo, Boston
Derrick Rose, Chicago
Dwyane Wade, Miami
Mo Williams, Cleveland

The number one pick is almost always on the ballot.

Fixed it.

Yi is on the ballot. We will already have a joke starter, so there is no need for an 09 campaign.

Wrong! Everyone should agree to vote for either Billups/McDyess or Iverson (NOT ALL THREE!), as many times as possible. Due to their being on the other conference ballot, it could result in one conference having up to 40% (if every single person casting ballots voted for Billups/McDyess) more total votes than the other.

Wed Nov 12, 2008 4:53 pm

I notice after last year's issue, Duncan has been listed as a forward first time around. It will indeed be interesting to see how many votes Yi gets, somehow I don't think he's going to be up there with Yao though.

Well, it's only for the paper ballots, not the online ballot.

Thu Nov 13, 2008 3:04 am

Yi is on the list! Three billion votes on their way, Yi will be an All-Star starter.

Thu Nov 13, 2008 9:20 am

I still don't know about that. The claim was he'd make it as a write-in last year but he didn't. I could certainly be wrong but my feeling is he won't get the same support as Yao in the All-Star balloting.

Thu Nov 13, 2008 12:16 pm

Dwight Howard has 6 blocks at halftime today. Amazing.

Thu Nov 13, 2008 12:55 pm

Okay?

Thu Nov 13, 2008 12:58 pm

Damn 6 blocks. D-Howard is a beast. I bet he wins DPoY and could very well win MVP. I think LeBron will win it in the end, but I won't rule D12 out.

Who does everyone think will win MVP at this point?

Thu Nov 13, 2008 1:08 pm

LeBron will if the Cavs win the Central. But good darko at him, Paul, Wade and Howard. Honestly, I hope they keep this up all season. It'd be arguably the four greatest single seasons in NBA history. (Link only guaranteed to be valid until tonights games are added in!)

Thu Nov 13, 2008 3:28 pm

Is there somebody missing in the ballot?

Two things... The first moves to the second one

1. I see Stephen Jackson listed as guard...

2. No Al Harrington???

Thu Nov 13, 2008 3:30 pm

Triple double Howard!

Edit: I was going to create a new thread about his 6 blocks earlier but then I realised that would be stupid, lol. So I just chucked it in here since it has something to do with balloting because Howard is good. Lovin it.

Thu Nov 13, 2008 10:25 pm

I'm lovin it mate.

Why there is not Al Harrington on the list?

Really surprising
