Who has a Geforce card and can help me set up...

Who has a Geforce card (I have a Geforce 5600 GS with 512MB, 3 GB ram, Intel Quad core processor) and can help me set up the game?

Which settings should I use? I want to run it on a TV-monitor that only supports resolutions up to 1280x1024.

In the Geforce control panel, you can choose individual settings for games such as triple buffer and many more stuff I don't know...

What should I do to get the best quality and performance?

Well I had that card once and I strongly suggest to download modified drivers (www.omegadrivers.net). And how's the game running when you set everything to the max (except for MSAA, Player Detail and Crowd Detail).

cheers

I assume that's a 9600, not a 5600.
Don't worry about the Forceware settings for now, you should change the ones that are in the in-game menu before thinking about that. Maximize your resolution first, then it's trial and error, you can either start conservatively with low settings, that you can increase progressively, or start with almost everything to max and turn some settings down if needed. Given your specs, I'd probably choose the latter, as you should not have too many issues (your card is the bottleneck though).

If you still have the resources to do so, force the anisotropic filtering from your control panel, and any other option that could make the game look better.

Each PC is different, even between 2 computers that have the same hardware, so it's just impossible for anyone here to tell you how high you can turn your settings, it's only a matter of trying for yourself.

Thanks.
It is a 9500 GS. It's my girlfriend's PC as mine cannot run the game.

What details are most CPU-consuming?

Typically, MSAA (antialising) is a frame killer. I haven't tried tweaking mine because I run them all at max so I can't tell you which setting would be more demanding. I'm sure the "crowd detail" gives you quite a hit when set to max, I forgot which other settings can be changed...

Thanks. The game runs well with 1280x960, MSAA x2 and everything set to high except for the crowd. The crowd´s front rows stay the same, only the upper rows in the stadium are replaced by some sort of invariable fans that only come in e.g. four colors.

How does Jordan Farmar look in your game? Is it normal that stars such as Bryant or Garnett look great in the game but Farmar and other bench players do not look next-gen but old NBA Live-ish.
