Dynasty resources: any contributors?

I'm thinking about a thread (possibly this one) where dynasty-creators can upload the templates they use in their dynasties for others and potential dynasty-makers to use. This could be "empty" HTML recap/article pages, magazine covers, even formatting settings used in creating recaps/monthly roundups posted within a thread.

Then when someone uses a template they got off the thread, it would be half-expected/half-assedly moderated that they acknowledge the original creator.

ANyone else find it a good idea and/or are willing to upload some of their "stuff"?

I like the idea. Not everyone is graphic savvy and it would be cool to have something that people could use to give their dynasties some flare.

I'm working on modifying my HTML templates so they're more "user-friendly". I'll then upload them.

Anybody else wanting to contribute, please upload your stuff and post it on the thread with a description of some sort and a "how-to-use" if you find it necessary.

EDIT: If a moderator is willing to manage the thread, they can otherwise I'll do so. If there's a good pile that builds up, maybe a sticky will become eventual?

Absolutely, if we can compile some useful resources we'll definitely sticky the thread.

ESPN.com template

As the name says, it's a template for an ESPN.com-style recap. Use Notepad (or Frontpage if you have it) to open the file and edit it. I'm not sure whether it requires some additional JavaScript and images, but if it does, post problems on the thread and I'll upload necessary files (if I can find them). Once completed, just upload to a webpage hoster.

Also, a shout-out to the people running dynasties: if you are willing to upload some of your templates (webpages, graphics, no matter how team-specific they are), please do so. I'm hoping we can build a nice, strong collection of resources for others to use so they don't have to feel discouraged by the fact that they may not be particularly graphics-savvy.

Naturally, please submit your name and any instructions to use with the files uploaded.

i'll contribute one of my fav templates used during a stretch in "Rockets: Season 1" for the "Game of the Week"

downside is that it is very 'team specific', will require Photoshop and at least enough working knowledge of the program to open the file up

i don't really know how useful it will be for someone else but maybe it will at least give ideas on how it was set it up or serve as a base then customized with replacement art/photos etc. to fit their dynasty or whatever

once the changes are made, a copy of the file is simply saved out in ".png" format (preserving the original/working .psd file for future use) then uploaded via photobucket or equivalent image hoster

anyway, like i said, not sure how useful but hope it helps your cause
