apparently kg doesn't want to be listed over 7 foot .. but i dunno if thats true or not.

about nene, he probably just grew :)

yeah... jus like AI, he's 5-11 i think but he's listed as 6-0 or 6-1... :D

Sun Nov 23, 2003 10:19 pm

thats actualy the first time i heard EA is using probaly the real hight, but then they should be consistant, like TD and Dirk at 6'10 or 6'11, Damon Stodomire are 5'9

Mon Nov 24, 2003 1:08 am

dirk is 7'0, td is 7'0 but kg is supposed to be 6'11 and a half but definately not 7'1

nene is 6'10 nba.com screwed up or maybe he'slike 6'10 and a half so they made him 6'11

KG is definetly 7" or taller.

Mon Nov 24, 2003 2:54 pm

Yea, KG is taller than 7foot
i heard it on an NBA game before, the commentator saying that KG doesn't want to be listed at 7foot cause he's afraid they would want him to play center.
(the commentator was that guy from ESPN who always says "absolutely, absolutely" i don't think he is still on ESPN anymore)

Weird, I always thought KG was listed at 6'11" but the reason why he looked so tall was because he has one heck of a wing span and a thin frame.

T-Mac too !!

Mon Nov 24, 2003 3:54 pm

Iv'e read an interview where Garnett swore T-Mac is 6-10 !
And T-Mac replied That Garnett also is way above 6-11.

It was some funny stuff

That makes for a really short basketball player. How in the hell could a 7" player get into the league. And what kind of a tinkerbell is he???

You Nick have garnett at taller then 7 inches, but who knows what you were measuring  (don't get upset about this, cause it's not worth it, it was just funny to see)

Ah, all jokes aside... Charles Barkley was one of the meanest power forward in the early nineties... He was always listed at 6'6" when he really was only about 6'4"... It is in the end just semantics, and does not matter, but keeping it real would be a nice change of pace.

I thought too that Garnett looked tall cause he has that kind of a frame about him, but guess he is really taller then they have lead us to believe.

I still don't have the game, but I will get it this week... Finally.

get the Slam Kicks issue and u will see, KG way taller then TD and T-mac almost as tall as TD whihc tell us that he is what he was listed when came out of collage at 6'10 and somthing. Dirk is also listed at 6'10 1/2 when drafted.
I dont know y KG doesnt want to be listed his true heigh and that thing where hes afraid they will play him at PF is rubbish, he played for what?...7 years and i have never head of a rule which says if ur 7' or over u must go PF or C.. and his whole team knows his taller then 6'11.

I actually wasn't being a joker, i was meant to say 7foot.

I've heard some say he's 7'2"! :o But i don't think he's that tall, prolly 7' or 7'1".

KG is actually 7'1. In 2002 all star game or whatever one TD and shaq were MVP in KG was standing next to both of them and looked taller then both by an inch. When he was drafted he did not wanna be listed at 7 Feet because of a steriotype at the time of 7 footers being Cs. If you remember there were almost no 7 footers at SF at the time. Now its a different story.

If you want me to prove this i can look up KGs rookie scouting report before draft on google.

I heard that back when Garnett was still early in his career his mom told the coach she didn't want him playing center because she didn't want him getting hurt, especially if he has to matchup against Shaq or others that have him by almost 100lbs
