I really hope SI covers are in the next Live....

Those "Inside Stuff" covers in Dynasty Mode are a joke. Why did they even bother putting them in? What EA Sports really need is the SI license to make mock cover magazines in the Dynasty Mode, a la NCAA Football 2004. EA Sports would be wise to implement it in all their sports games. Not only would it be cool to see your players on a believable cover, but things like stats, standings, and injuries would be in the magazine instead of having to go to GM's Desk. If Sega Sports has the ESPN license, the least EA Sports could do is wrap up SI's license to use their format in all their games.

Yes, I've heard of it, and its not that what you define it as. Its just anything that is on the cover of SI seems to have bad luck. If you actually saw the covers of SI, you'd realize your "35% injury or death" statement is ridiculous. But that's straying from the topic...

Sounds like the Madden NFL Box Cover Curse. Every year the person that is on the cover of Madden's game gets hurt. This year it was Michael Vick, Last yeqar it was Faulk, before that it was the Vikings QB, then Eddie George. All of them were hurt the season they were on the cover.
