unrealistic simulation

is there any setting that can make 6 playeers in a league not averaging 43 pts at the and of the season? defensive player averages 39, sixth man averages 21... about 50 players in a league are averaging at least 27 ppg.. that is so unrealistic and boring... and chris paul averages 3 apg, nash averages 5... nobody averages above 6... what is wrong with that game? is there any way to fix it?

If you're playing the PC version you can download a sim engine patch (check the Releases section) but really the best way is to play another game in the series; NBA Live 08 PC leaves a lot to be desired.
