And how can i turn them on ingame using gamepad?

Next to the players name under them as you control them is little bars like you'd see on a cell/mobile phone. That's the hot spot equivalent.
I forget if there's an overlay you can bring up.

well i see that.. sometimes it turns red and sometimes it turns blue.but offten its just yellow. so red would be hot and blue cold? and if more lines ar filled theres a better chanse to score right?
