If only I could ever quit you

Psh, it's just the food lodged up your brain that's talking.
I'm just waiting for the bugs and glitches to be posted by those who have the game already for the PC. If nothing's too serious, I may have to do an early Christmas shopping.

assists are way too easy to get
weird CPU trades
rookies in association get existing player's portraits, just morphed
your computer sucks
there ya go, go buy it

"assists are way too easy to get"
- basically it means that it's realistic if I'm playing Chris Paul, Steve Nash, or Deron Williams
"weird CPU trades"
- seen in it in Live, nothing new. Acceptable.
"rookies in association get existing player's portraits, just morphed"
- cool. I've been doing sort of the same for Live. Patching a known player's face over a cpu generated player in the later years of my Dynasties/Franchises.
"your computer sucks"
- just like your momma. Sorry for the "yo momma" joke, I got nothing.

More like I inbound to Garnett after a basket, he chucks it up court to Pierce where I attempt 3 isomotion moves, then just backdown and finally hit a fadeaway, Garnett gets an assist.

Still acceptable.
I don't usually play that way, throwing baseball passes up court. That's cheezy as I consider it in the same vein as the "continue to pump fake until the defender jumps" offensive move in Live.
I always setup a halfcourt play after an opponent scores a basket, to slow things down.
I'm keeping an eye out for Live 07 level type of bugs and glitches.

"assists are way too easy to get" The bigger issue to me is that the cpu opponents are all playmakers, which leads to inflated assist numbers, but sliders can improve and fix this issue, without affecting the difficulty. The same goes for human assists. The assist logic likely only takes into consideration how many dribbles a player takes. It's a gray area because if you get a steal, make a pass to a player at half cout who goes all the way to score, you should get an assist, right? So, how does a pumpfake or an up and under make a difference, compared to a player with an open front court?
"weird CPU trades" has the same workaround it did in 2k8. Turn off cpu-cpu trades until you hit january or february, basically before the all star break and the trade deadline.
"rookies in association get existing player's portraits, just morphed" is not a bug, but a cool feature that is limited by the amount of portraits. However, I have read that they will use retired players cyberfaces and portraits for generated players and that you cannot edit generated players appearances, even when "edit draft class" is set to on.
"your computer sucks" I wish mine gave me that much love.
As far as real issues that will probably plague the PC version, if you change you settings and then use practice mode, it will cause the inbound bug glitch, where the ball is always live after a made basket andnever inbounded, you can just keep scoring. This is actually fun in real life with a couple friends and gets real competitive, they might as well make it in option in 2k10.
Too many points in the paint, mostly due to the assist/playmaker issue, which can be improved/fixed with sliders or good defense.

Not a bad idea. Might as well jack down defensive and offensive fouls to a manageable level so we can play a bit of NFL version of the NBA.
Mad scramble for the ball!
Even the glitches of the game can be fun. Damn you 2K9!
