for the controller, I am using a ps2 controller that i use for pc... i guess that's enough...how many buttons do you really need to play this game hehehe...

A ton I think. Check out the post about 2k9 Controls. At least in the console versions, you can control all kinds of shot types, mostly with the right shot stick.

The 3650 is $54.99 + $8.25 shipping - $20 rebate. That's $43.24, right in your price range. It's a good card. You won't get bragging rights with your friends but it should allow you to run 2k9 at medium settngs.

You have a PS2 controller. The 360 controller has no more buttons than a PS2 controller.

Don't forget the Xbox guide button! Can you even map a function to it?

Sat Oct 11, 2008 7:30 pm

If you don't use official drivers you can.

ehh... a $24.99 card won't last you 2 years if your planning to go long term.

Just don't be cheap with these things, get the newest and get a affordable ones.

Trust Me.

Oh snap, that changes everything. The shipping would probably cost you more than the card. Newegg doesn't ship internationally. Sorry.

Not good. You might as well not upgrade. Those cards won't allow you to play anything. That card is $25 + $8 shipping. The 3850 I mentioned before is $45. Is $12 really that hard for you to come up with? It makes a world of difference.

You've gotta know your audience Oreo. A guy who's asking about a $25 video card isn't going to be buying a $200 video card. I agree with you that the 8400 is crap and won't play ANYTHING though.

Do a GF8800 and you'll be more than fine. 8600 and 9600 would probably be more than enough for 2K9 anyway.

Sigh, shadow, shadow, shadow...

Everyone needs to read this thread before posting. Find the link I posted, do the BioShock test, and if you pass that I will say you're going to have zero problems with 2K9. If not, it'll tell you the holes to plug.

I don't like to browse 4 pages that are almost filled with retardation from some posters, including me.

EDIT: Woot! it passed. Even the recommended spec test. Sweetness.
