Downloading 08 files for live 07

How do you download files for live08 to work for live 07? For example i wanted to download the latest roster update that had the rosters through september, i think it was albys but i wanted to download it for live 07.

With NBA Live 08 roster updates, all you need to do is copy the players.dbf and appearance.dbf from the roster to a saved NBA Live 07 roster - all the other databases must be NBA Live 07 databases. That should be all you need to do.

Most art updates are compatible without any sort of conversion and can just be placed in the sgsm folder as normal.

For me it works fine also in dynasty.

It also depends on whether the patch you've converting has any Dynasty Mode issues to begin with.

Sure, but if the file is ok with 08, should be ok with 07 also. All the fields that Live 07 requires are still there in the same order, the only difference is some extra fields. With players.dbf and appearance.dbf from roster update for Live 08 and the rest from original 07 database, you shouldn't experience any problems.

In most cases, left clicking a download link here in the Forum or the download button in our Downloads section will do the trick. Several tutorials have been posted that explain the process of applying patches, I'd definitely recommend giving them a look if you get stuck.
