Denver:
The first half saw the struggle of the Blazers as they try to stay afloat against the 3-point bombs that Melo and Smith are trhowing on them. Melo with 17 and Smith with 15 points are simply killing the Blazers.
Bayless was clearly out of his game with only 3 assists in his stat sheet against AI's 7 points and 8 dishes. K-Mart was unstoppable in the paint as he hooked, dunked, and blocked in the defensive end.
"They are just too much for us now. We will re-group and be back in the 2nd half hopefully with a better battle plan." Bayless mentioned during a half-time interview.
Brandon Roy, still not 100% percent had to stay longer in the game than planned to provide leadership on the court. He provided 13 points.
The second half proved to be the same when AI started with a three-pointer. Bayless was still nowhere to be found as he continued to miss shot after shot. Smith continued to be unstoppable with Melo being consistent on the side. this continued till the 4th qtr as the lead ballooned to 20. The Blazers was able to bring it down to 10 but time was not on their side as the Nuggets went away with a big win over the sloppy play of the Blazers.
Blazers Trainer Damien Teal was not happy with the way B-Roy was utilized as he was still mending his injury. "If this continues, he could aggravate his injury and may result into a longer rehabilitation." He added.
"They were just out of it. We are all for it. that's just the way it is. I look forward to meeting them again and maybe next time they will be up to the challenge. - AI
"Uhm My shots just kept sinking like it's Christmas. I felt the momentum and i knew i can drain any shot given to me by the defense." said by J.R. Smith who came away with the Player of the game honors.

I am glad to open up this new section in my updates the "TAKANORI's CORNER" where he will breakdown Blazers up and coming games.
Background: Takanori Chen is the Blazers' Scout and he has done a great job with his accurate scouting and advise.
Takanori: The Blazers' last game only proved that if you are not focused in your game and get intimidated, you will never get to do what the coach asks you to do and eventually make a fool of yourself on the court and on Global TV.
Now to do what I'm here for, the New Jersey Nets are no pushovers. Even with a 3-4 record, from a loss courtesy of Detroit, and no win on the road, they are still a playoff team and they've got the experience.
The Blazers should exploit the following:
- The Nets are 7th in the league in TO's
- They are 10th in Fouls
- Play aggressive defense. Based on their previous games, they always win if they score 80 points and above and lose if below.
With these things in mind, I hope the Blazers win it this time. Go Blazers!!!
