Project NBA LIVE 09 for NBA LIVE 08

As the nba live 09 was not confirmed the launch for PC, I thought it would be good the staff makes a patch to transform the NBA LIVE 08 in NBA LIVE 09, so I do not understand very well, so I'm going to patch the idea.

Aren't they already making a 09 for PC, what I mean is the community is already trying to update Live 06 for 2009. It's called 09 PC project. I think we should focus all our efforts on one front that way it get done quicker rather than spreading ourselves too thin. Just my 2 cents.

I can contribute by making all the portraits of the players and making the loading screens + the boot-up screen for nba live

Some people don't like 06, or don't have it. Most people who are active in the patching forums are playing 08 and downloading patches or making patches.

I think there are too many issues with 08 to update it for 09. However, like I said earlier, alot of people are playing it so they want it updated. I suggest everybody who wants to work on a project for 09 using Live 08 organize so alot more can get done and it can all be in one download, rather then a bunch of small patches.

That, I fully agree with Pdub.

We need people to contribute to the patch NBA LIVE 09 is created, would be the best qualified people, which is a good development if interested patched!

and BigGameJames also has a good point. we need to focus on only one project. and there is already a team or group of patchers working on it (NBA LIVE 08 Update for PC to NBA LIVE 09).
and some of the patches you selected are not yet the best that we can find. lets leave it to the patchers and spectators and other members of the community on which patch should be chosen.
one of the main problem is, different patches conflict with another. for example the roster or save file. the aiact.viv should be compatible with it, or the files that are needed like the jerseys and all.
so its not the just so simple to make and decide to group these patches or patchers to make an update to 09 for PC. just ask other people because there is already a group making an update for this.

We are already planning to do an update for it bro but ive closed the thread since 09 is still not out ..once 09 it will be released we will now start to make a thread for it..

We are still waiting for the 09 to come out cuz we will look for some files or maybe animations that we might can import to the 08..after that we will now be posting some updates in the new thread

I think you should contact Alby and Kris cause using their patches for the project will complete these tasks:
1)Roster Update
2)Portraits Update
3)Cyberfaces Update (though it needs some CFs, Alby's Patch contains the best and the most cyberfaces)
4)All-Star Game Rosters
5)New Scoreboard
6)New Shadows (contained in Alby's Patch)
7)New Light (and a perfect gameplay patch by Kris)

For new backround movies Besi has done a good job
