Please don't post in all capital letters.

It can be achieved through DBF editing if you have the PC version, but if you're playing the game on a console, there's nothing you can do.

speaking of lefties and righties, what hand does Carmelo Anthony shoot with in real life, coz in the game, he shoots right handed, but I thought he was left handed.

Chris Bosh is left-handed in real-life and in the game they made him right-handed.

Can someone please explain (if it's not too complicated) what numbers should be changed in the DBF file so we can change players' shooting hand?
So far we know about two players - Ronald Murray and Chris Bosh...

Adrian Griffin is really lefty, but I noticed that he's righty in the game AGAIN!

It's been like that for 3 years...

For the PC, under hand 1=lefty 0=righty.

I think about this too, Michael Redd and Tayshaun Prince were both listed as righties in the 2003 version of NBA Live for the PC.

There are others and I forget for now.

Assuming it's the same as NBA Live 2003, the field should be labelled HAND.

:D
I guess you are right. :)

The reason I was asking was because I was opening .dbf files with notepad, and I couldn't see much there...but in other thread I found out that I can use excel and it works. Just edited Bosh, Murray and Griffin.

Another question - should I edit players.dbf in all these folders: currentdb, originaldb & workingdb? Thanks.

It's best to save your roster and edit the DBF files in the appropriate folder in saves.
