Awesome, thanks. Years pro have already been updated, salary and contract info will be updated as well. I'm not sure if I'll do that in this update or closer to the start of the regular season when player movement slows down a bit but it will be done at some point.

As it stands, the rosters are pretty up to date, I'd like to do some further ratings changes and jersey number corrections though. Aside from that, it's pretty much just the faces as the moment, which means I should be able to catch up on the 07 update. I still can't say when they'll all be out but with all the contributions it's definitely helping.

Great you update years pro already. For salaries - it should be great if you can do this important thing in this roster update. You know a lot of people would like to start new dynasty with your roster update, but if salaries aren't updated then there is less realism in dyansty. I suggest you to release this update a little bit later, but with updated salaries.

Well, like I said it's something I will be doing for the next season, where it's in v1.07 or not I can't say. Depends on when v1.07 comes out and what turns out to be the easiest approach.

Echoing the main page announcement....

The NBA Live 08 and NBA Live 07 roster updates have progressed to the point where they are very close to being released. While I will still be using generic placeholder faces whenever necessary, I would like to include a few more faces for the new rookies before I release both updates. If you'd like to contribute face patches for the roster, they would be most gratefully received and you will of course receive credit for your contributions.

For a list of faces still needed, please check out the first post in this thread, which has just been updated.
