    PG: Tyronn Lue - 15, 3.9; 0.8; 1.9; 0.60; 0

Who has done good:

Image
Andrew Bogut -
Averaging an easy double-double with 10.6 PPG and 10.7 RPG, also has a perfect defensive game, averaging 2.1 SPG and 2.67 BPG.

Image
Nenad Krstic -
Also, near to a double-double, missing just 0.1 RPG. Averages 11.5 points and had some 20 point games.

Image
Felix Rey -
A rookie, averaging 14.9 points and 8.6 assists, which is team-high and also, the best APG in the league. He also has a team second high 2.07 SPG trailing Bogut's 2.1.

Image
Antoine Wright -
Coming off the bench as a sixth man, played in all 15 games and also had 4 starts at the forward position. Averaging 7.2 points and hasn't had practically any struggling games.

Who has struggled:

Image
Jason Kapono -
Hasn't played as good as he could. Could shoot around .500% from the 3pt line, but is shooting just .346%. Could average little under 10 points, but averages just 2.2 PPG. Overall, hasn't proved himself in New Jersey.

Image
Vince Carter -
Got a stupid injury in a game, and sat down half of the month because of that. Had a 63 point game, but still, Nets would have done better with him.

Image
Desmond Mason -
Behavior, and now he's out for the season. There's not much to stay, but could've used his brain more.

Skillmatic, haha, that's a funny one. Sorry that I haven't updated it lately, been busy IRL.

Pretty much everyone on these forums hate me, which is understandable, since my post are either spam, insulting, hypocritical or just land on the "make it stop" end of the funny scale, but I can take solace in knowing that, mediocre and uninspired it may be, my dynasty still can inspire people to replicate pieces of my formula.

Nice first part of your monthly recap. I'm flattered. :)

lamrock., thanks. I don't think everyone hates you, though you're a big critic, but mostly it's helping you know. And yeah, your recaps were good, and I was in a hurry so I took the same style. Thank you, anyways.

    5. Pau Gasol - 19.9; 10.5; 3.9; 1.88; 1.71

League leaders:

PPG: Vince Carter - 29.0 ( Was injuried for half month ); Kevin Garnett - 28.5
    FG%: Julian Wright - .750%
    3P%: Smush Parker - .739%
FT%: Kyle Korver, Tyronn Lue, Danny Fortson, Pete Foxx - 1.000
    RPG: Emeka Okafor - 13.6
    BPG: Emeka Okafor - 3.5
    SPG: Larry Hughes - 2.85
    APG: Felix Rey - 8.6

Players of the month:

    PPG, RPG, APG, BPG, SPG
    West player: Yao Ming - 28.1; 11.2; 4.9; 2.44; 1.38
    East player: Kevin Garnett - 28.5; 9.7; 3.9; 2.20; 1.53

    East rookie: Stanislav Soares - 16.0; 3.3; 5.3; 0.76; 2.65

Power rankings - Top 5:

    1. Denver Nuggets (14-3): Bad built team, bad roster ? All those guesses where wrong as we can see the Nuggets leading the league so far with only three losses.

    2. Boston Celtics (10-6): Yet a respective team, or we could say the most loved franchise, what will they do this season ? 60 wins ? None knows, but stay tuned for them.

    3. Golden State Warriors (10-4): Monta Ellis has left their guard spot, but they have even more success without him, deserving a good second seed in the Western playoff race right now.

    4. Dallas Mavericks (13-3): Almost the same as Nuggets, but still not good enough for top 3, staying at the fourth place. Not very big surprise it's yet another Western team as the Mavericks are over the Texas Triangle.

    5. Los Angeles Lakers (13-4): Team led by two top 5 MVP Candidates, Bryant and Gasol, who are carrying the team to third best record in the league and fifth spot in the power rankings.

Coming next: Decembers' first game, Vince Carter's comeback - NJN @ GSW.

Good job getting the win. Monta did great against his former team! Though, you really need to update his CF. ;)

Tue Jul 15, 2008 1:46 am

Skillmatic, Yeah, Monta did good and also shot really well. I would update his CF, but I don't really mind that, so I'm not going to waste my time on that. :D Thanks, btw.

Also, Skillmatic, could you edit the post when you quoted the " Nets sign Najera " article, so it won't show the picture ? It doesn't look very good the way it is now. :) Thanks.

Damn too bad Kristic is off playing in Russia now. Anyways whatever happened to your 76er dynasty? I thought you were retiring this and playing as Philly now?

Wed Jul 30, 2008 5:41 am

Chaser7, nah. I am pretty much retired anyways, and I still thought I'll continue this, it's got pretty far already, so why not continue. I just played one game.

Sorry for being so inactive meanwhile, I haven't been around lately. Going to make the recap tomorrow, I think.
