This is my opinion, cause it's only gonna be 20 bucks! I don't own a PS2 anymore so good, I have a xbo 360.But getting to the point I think it won't have many new features, I know the new gen will but not the PS2. It will probably be like last year.

Well, considering 2K8 was an updated 2K7, which was an updated 2K6, I'd say you're probably right.
Glad it's going to only be $20 though, I'll probably pick it up just for some updated rosters. (That fucking 12 created player limit.) Though I'd wish they'd make a Xbox version just for me. (Hotter graphix!)

Hmm, I made a roster set for 2K7 on Xbox with the new rookies, but my Xbox CD reader died
