help with playcalling (possible bug?)

I'm not sure what's going on but everytime I press the "play call" button...NOT the quick plays (iso, pick and roll, post up, 3/basket cut), it calls timeout for me? I want to choose, say 2-3 zone...how do i choose that? and it seems like if I don't hold my key long enough it will call a timeout. I kept trying then it charging me with a timeout until i started getting a bunch of technicals.

BTW, I have the PC version. Any help? thanks.

In Live 2003 it was like this: tap the playcalling button -> timeout; hold it -> call plays.

Seems that's the same now, so I would not call it a bug.

Sorry I only played the 2003 demo so I wouldn't know. BTW, how do I call a play from the menu? Thanks

you have to hold down the playcalling button...a screen will pop up with the 4 quick plays you've chosen and you simply push the button that corresponds to the play while still holding the playcalling button. if you simply press and release it calls a timeout
