Direct Pass - PC

I have Live 08 on the PC and I use a Saitek P2500 pad. I assigned "direct pass" to the P2500's equivalent of L1, but actually using that function is a crap shoot. When I press L1 to activate direct passing, about half the time it will work, and the other half of the time it will force my player to throw an undirected pass which normally results in a turnover. Is there anyway to get this to work like it should? I find it hard to run pick and rolls when its near impossible to hit the roller with a pass. Hell, its hard to pass the ball to whom I want, regardless of situation, in this game.

I'd appreciate any help...

I have the same problem.

I thin this occurs with any gamepad. Try to hold the button, this should fix it.

Ok, thanks for that. I'll try it. I like the signature too, if I ever get around to getting a next-gen console, I'm going for 2K's games.
