There is some probability that Triple H, Matt Hardy, and Kane will lose their titles at the Night of Champions, to swing the titles back to their home brands.

I'm not sure about the ECW title though.

Tue Jun 24, 2008 11:22 pm

Yea, I guess Cena will win the title then.
They could make them switch though, and make it Batista win it, but that's very unlikely I think.

The US and ECW will stay at their brands I think. Though I didn't even know that Kane is allowed to hold the ECW Title while not being on the roster of ECW.
I thought he changed from SD! to ECW because of the title in the first place.

(But Big Show holding the belt would alse be nice)

Edit: I just saw Vince's "accident". I think they'll gonna use this angle to end the Million Dollar Mania.

That's exactly what they did.
Man the accident looked soooo fake. Some random part of the stage falling onto the floor, then mysterious fog coming out of the ground. I laughed damn hard.

Wow. Maybe the WWE is trying to improve the "B-show".

Boy I tell ya....when the rock was around..smackdown was the A-show.

ECW will soon be taped after RAW though, so presumably there'll be a talent exchange with RAW and ECW similar to the one that's been taking place with Smackdown up until now.

I wonder if there'll be any trades in the wake of the Draft. If there is, I hope it involves JR and Cole switching back, though I doubt that will happen.

A question about the draft. Is the draft already set to begin with or the gm of the three brands really draft? and if the draft scripted as well?

That pretty much explain why Kane was drafted to Raw

I read in wrestlezone and saw on WWE website that there will be a supplemental Draft.

J.R. was really pissed off because he got drafted and he almost quitted last night on Raw.

Superstars from Raw, SD and ECW fought last night on Raw and who wins will get the pick. The main event was a battle royal and who wins will get the last two picks.

Well, the draft is scripted but the wrestlers don't know if they will be drafted with the exception of Triple H.

All is kayfabe as far as I see it. I hope that JR and Cole gets back to their home brands. Or better yet, get rid of the brands.

Honestly I think they know that also ..

Anyone saw ECW this Tuesday?
Kingston's and Benjamin's match was fun to watch!
Kofi Kingston rocks.

Thu Jun 26, 2008 8:41 am

He and evan bourne (matt sydal) are the reason's to watch ecw...along with mike knox; the other fuckers all appear on the other brands regularly. Kingston and bourne bring that high flying old school ecw feel more than anyone else.

The 2008 WWE Supplemental Draft is now complete. Below you will find full results.

1) Mark Henry drafted to ECW

2) Jamie Noble drafted to Raw

3) Trevor Murdoch drafted to SmackDown

Smackdown gets the "upperhand" even in the Supplemental Draft thing.

Sun Jun 29, 2008 7:24 pm

I predict that the two world championships will change hands to return to their home brands.

Triple H may lose to Cena so that the WWE Championship will go back to Raw. Same with the ECW Championship, though I doubt that Mark Henry will win it among all contenders.

Or the World Heavyweight Championship might come back to Raw while leaving the WWE title to SmackDown.

Sun Jun 29, 2008 7:58 pm

According to all the insider websites, Triple H was the only one who knew he was switching brands before the Draft took place. The reasoning behind Smackdown getting the best of the Draft is so that it can put forward the best product it can come the move to MyNetwork; I think they're essentially trying to make it the A show now.
There's also talk that CM Punk will cash in his MITB at Night of Champions to bring the World title back to RAW. There's a good chance that Mark Henry will end up with the ECW belt as well so that it's back on the ECW brand.
I just finished reading Bret Hart's book and I have to say it was a fascinating look inside the business. It certainly didn't portray Shawn Michaels or Triple H very favourably, which is probably why it wasn't released under the WWE brand as with other books, such as Eric Bischoff's "Controversy Creates Cash". I've read that the WWE wanted to heavily edit it before they released it under their brand of books, which the Hitman refused. On the other hand, Undertaker was portrayed quite favourably as was Mick Foley and Stone Cold.

Mon Jun 30, 2008 4:40 am

i'm surprised Bret didn't trash Stone Cold considering he was the cause of the beginning of the end of Bret's WWF/E career. I mean, the whole HBK beef didn't help, but Bret was supposed to be a face and Stone Cold the heel at the beginning of the "Attitude" era.

Mon Jun 30, 2008 5:20 am

That wasn't Stone Cold's doing though. From all accounts there's a great deal of mutual respect there which is the main reason Austin inducted the Hitman into the Hall of Fame.

BIG GREEN will love it. I do.

Mon Jun 30, 2008 1:57 pm

OH yes I do! I was cheering loud like i was actually at the show. That was the match of the night for me.

Mon Jun 30, 2008 2:33 pm

Whoa, that's a big push out of nowhere considering he's only just joined the brand. Good move though, and a much better use of the belt.

Add to what Andrew said, Stone Cold was one of the few wrestlers under contract then in the WWF that spoke out first against the Montreal screwjob.

Mon Jun 30, 2008 10:43 pm

Surprised that the WHC didn't switch brands. And I was expecting a Y2J-HBK match, but I'm not disappointed when Kofi became Intercontinental Champ.

And WTF Mark Henry as ECW Champ. :|

Mon Jun 30, 2008 11:17 pm

Bound to happen with Henry being the only ECW wrestler in that match. I'm surprised they've left RAW without a major champion too, I guess they're going to drag that out a bit longer. So far, it seems like the Draft has successfully "shaken up" the roster but it seems pretty awkward to me. I can understand them going for twists and cliffhangers but it's getting a bit messy.

Tue Jul 01, 2008 1:32 am

Nothing wrong with henry winning a belt...he's been in the business for 10 years and this is his first one.

Tue Jul 01, 2008 3:59 am

He also won the Euro championship back in the day. I thought he'd also won the Hardcore belt at some point but turns out I was mistaken.

Tue Jul 01, 2008 11:20 am

Just watching Raw .. I knew it, I fuckiing knew it. I thought it'd happen at NoC already, now it happend tonight.
Batista beat up Edge for what happend last Night, as Batista goes, CM Punk runs in and cashes in his title match. A quick GTS and the WHC is back on Raw.
He pulled an Edge :D
Tue Jul 01, 2008 11:51 am

I'm watching Raw too.. and I'm still jaw-dropped after what happened a few minutes ago.
