Then you've got a problem of a logjam, since there's no guarantee they'll be able to move any of the players currently on the roster.

Although I think Beasley is the better player
but the Bulls would go and draft Rose because they got Tyrus Thomas and i don;t think they are going to give up on him and Hinrich is not the answer at PG unless they want to go for TJ Ford...

too many mediocre players at too many spots. somebodys got to ride the pine. hinrich or thomas? truth is the bulls have alot of bench players who could start on other teams. i mean, gordon and deng come off the bench. im sure at least 10 other teams would start those guys

I would say average rather than mediocre and even then, that's selling a few of them a little short. Also, if they're mediocre how can they be players who would be starter material on other teams?

i agree, alot of teams would start those 2 players, and those teams would probably be entering the lottery the following season

imo the bulls take rose, try to work a package to clear the jam it would cause. thats what i would do, just my opinion

Why don't they just pick me? :D
JK, I think Rose wld be the choice

gordan and deng are very talented. they just dont have the right mentality in chicago. you look at the team on paper and they win 50 games this season. it didnt happen though. i think they have the same problem as new york, too much talent, no direction, no chemistry. on another team, i think gordon would be a force in this league. again, its a matter of chemistry. just the same as how ben wallace was awesome in detroit.... and then disappeared in chicago. same talent. wrong chemistry. honestly, chicago would be well served to break the team apart. there's lots of trade bait here. you look at a team like philly, which is nowhere near as talented as chicago... but they did very well this year on willpower alone. put gordon on that team, watch him become an impact player.

But Gordon's previous seasons in Chicago have been more impressive, particularly the 2006/2007 campaign. Ben Wallace's heart was never in Chicago; he got his payday but his heart was still in Detroit. If Joe D had been willing to pay him $15 mil per year, I doubt he'd have ever left. I'd still trade Hinrich before I traded Gordon.

Also add the fact that Mo Cheeks somehow got his brain activated and started fielding in player rotations to maximize efficiently the Sixers' lineup.

We all know Skiles has consistent player rotations.

I'm sure it will be Rose, the Bulls are getting a lot of pressure to pick the hometown favorite. When asked how he'd feel going no. 2 to the Heat Rose said "I'd hate it." Doesn't leave much room for interpretation.

Teams don't usually make draft picks based on draftee's wishes, see Milwaukee, Vancouver.

But good on him for saying it. It'll be great to see some competitive fire from someone other than Noah or Noc.

P.s. the kid in your avatar is my new favourite person.

does anyone think miami will actually pass on beasley even if they dont really want him? hearing all these reports of miami trying to shop the pick is not what i expected to be honest

Thu Jun 26, 2008 10:35 am

They'd be dumb to pass on Beasley. Take him, he has more trade value than OJ Mayo if they really want to get rid of him.

Thu Jun 26, 2008 10:59 am

Passing on Beasley would be idiotic. If they did, Jim Stack would probably be pissing his pants on draft night.
