"After a long, difficult and sometimes emotional process stemming from a traumatic injury to a key player, it was concluded that parting ways was the best thing for both Jorge and Raptors organization," Toronto general manager Bryan Colangelo said.
Found out about a week ago, but didn't become official until now. Not too surprising because of the injury problems.
He could've been a decent player with the Raps. I don't think any other would consider signing him, besides the Grizzlies anyway.
Well look on the bright side, he could still get a job as a pornstar.

it's sad to see good European players give up so quickly and bolt back overseas for more money.
Jasikevicius, JC Navarro, Macijauskas, Spanoulis, Garbo, etc.

Garbojosa was an idiot to play knowing his condition. I'm tired of these athletes who get paid so much money and contribute a lot to the team, being so selfish. Raps would have had a better season if he was 100%

i guess he should just go back to europe. his too old to play in the nba.

I guess the writing was on the wall with the Raptors being unhappy that he elected to play for the Spanish national team despite nursing an injury from last season and their decision to sign Kapono and Moon. It can't have made for an amicable partnership.
