Further confirmation that we won't be seeing a superstar mode in the game this year, which seems to point back towards an online feature.
Sorry, no superstar mode this year. We've been working on something new this year that we're pretty excited about. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to talk about it now because I probably wouldn't have a job tomorrow if I did. We'll be announcing it at E3. We're pretty sure it'll change the way sports games are made.

I see where you're coming from, I'm just not convinced Oscar Robertson (or indeed any NBA legend) is the answer to Live's problems.
I agree it will take more but I'll be happy with a start like that
