BMW GINA

Saw this on a latvian site, thought it was interesting enough to share, since a lot of you guys are car fans.

BMW presents GINA, a new take on car design, materials, and flexibility. The GINA replaces the traditional metal/plastic skin with a textile fabric skin that’s pulled taut around a frame of metal and carbon fiber wires. Even the shape of the car can change. Fascinating and creative design study.

Not really feeling it, maybe its too futuristic, reminds me more of Speedracer.

I feel sorry for the guy who buys this for tons of money and crashes. Cause it looks like the frame is made out of carbon fiber wires, which aren't very safe.

When this is released...my new career will be hunting down the idiots who spent money on this and stealing it with a pocket knife. Cut the door open and gain entry.

Cute car, good to know there are creative minds working on these kind of projects when there are obviously no other important things to work on. Like getting poor countries clean water etc etc.

When I see this car, I'll always think of VaGina.

The car looks like it has some sort of evil stare.

Sometimes vaginas have that too...like it wants to suck your manhood away.
