bro, do you mean retiring players? i have already finished 2 dynasty sessions and have retired at least 3 players but i didn't experience any crashes with the roster.

don't know but sometimes, (maybe randomly) the game just crashes usually on simulations. just try and save before simulation then if you crash, just re-load your game and try it again. usually works for me.

bro, i mean resigning players.. after the scouting for rookies you can resign your players' contracts.. every time i resign or simulate that orange icon my game crashes..

i've tried reloading it a couple of times but still it happens.. i even tried using Kris' Roster 1.0 but still the problems there..

oh, ok. you mean re-sign end of contract players. i've also done this but didn't encounter any crashes before. are the players you were re-signing computer generated or rookies? really not sure where the problem might be bro.

what team are you using bro? will try using it to see if the same error occurs in my dynasty when simulating.

i've tried different teams bro but still my game crashes.. i'm still on my first year of my dynasty and this happens.. i don't even know which players to resign coz i can't go to the resign players screen..(i didn't check the team roster)

guess i'll just have to re-install my game and start all over again..

P.S. did you try using Kris' Roster 1.0? which do you prefer, your WF1 update or his?.. just want your opinion bro coz i'm gonna start my dynasty all over again..

m.gaRz i'm experiencing the same thing as you. I just finished a season with Philly and I've done some trades and FA signing. I tried entering and simulating through resign but game crashes once I get to that box. If theres no fix, unfortunately we'll have to use another roster for dynasty..

re-tried using 2 different teams and finished two whole dynasty scenarios through total simulation (no user vs cpu games) and did sign, re-sign, traded players and retire some old players but still no crashes using WF1 2.0 roster. Sorry but i really don't know where the prob might be.

i'm still on the testing stage of Kris 1.0 roster but with this one, i'm still trying user vs cpu games and it's showing good results. although when looked upon, some players have very high stats, i believe kris did that to align with the aiact format game results he was aiming for which is good.

for me, just use which ever you think is suitable for your game play/style.

I just did some testing with the NLSC and Kris's new roster. Kris's new roster had the same crash on both of my computers. but NLSC went through without a problem. But whats bad with the NLSC roster is the unrealistic sim stats..

ANyway, I was able to resign players and go on without crash. This means that the problem isn't in the database files or whatever. I suspect that its from the saves/dynasty file that carries info for contracts, and player information.

I was wondering if its possible to copy NLSC files that contain those info into kris's/flip's dynastys to make it work out for people who are experiencing this crash.

So, What are the file names for these files?

bro, i think there is a problem with the Apearance.dbf file in the roster. Did you tweak / modify the file in the roster? i think that error only occurs when there is a mising parameter in the appearance.dbf. encountered this when i was adding the missing players for wf1.

1. Installed the ILT project patch (those included in RR08v1)
2. Installed IRPT roster1_2 (parts 1 & 2)
3. Installed shoe patch for chnxiaoju (3.0 and 3.5 )
4. Install Webberf1's 1.31 final patch (didn't use the settings)
5. used Kris' latest fix
6. Installed yesky's v2.10 simengine
7. Used ORIGINAL EA simengin.txt file

2. BACK UP ORIGINAL and WORKING DB Folders
3. Now, Open Roster save file WF1 2.0 then COPY ALL files.
4. Go back to My Docs/ NBA Live 08/ Database folders
5. Paste copied files to ORIGINAL and WORKING DB folders. (overwrite existing files)
6. Open the game then reset your rosters.
7. Load WF1 2.0 roster
8. Play the game in Dynasty.

If any errors occur again, bump me and i'll try to look for other fixes.

are you using the direct patch from chnxiaoju? did you try to run he accurate.bat file included cause if not, the appearance.dbf file and shoesacc.dbf file would really be messed up which could also cause the crashes you are encountering.

have you tried and played a game with the roster? are the shoes somewhat messed up? if this is so, then we've located the prob.

for me actually, i'm still using chnxiaoju 4.0 shoe patch which was edited by Webberf1 to be 1x. Don't know if it is still in his thread but i downloaded it somewhere in his pages. didn't update to chnxiaoju's current patch cause i placed wade's limited edition finals shoes in the 4.0 patch.

try this fix bro.

I use the playoffs shoes patch instead of the 3.0 or 3.5 so the shoes display fine in normal games. Do you suggest that Kris's roster and your roster aren't compatible with the playoff shoes?

i don't want to use another roster bro.. coz' the ratings are way too high esp. the dunk ratings..

bro, just found out that some players doesn't have CF, like Woods in Houston and some guy named K.Powell on the free agents..he has no portait too..

P.S. still my game crashes on the resigning players' contracts screen.. hope Kris' new update could solve this, i heard that he's making a new and improve roster..
