NBA Live 09 will not be released for the PC

Dear pinoys and kids....when you grow up...you too will find a job and be able to buy a console so you can play nba live. I'm sorry EA got tired of not making money on the PC due to the fact that the market has changed and people kept freely downloading their products on the intarwebz. How dare they focus on less platforms with the slim hope of producing a higher grade software and how dare they be in business to make money to begin with huh? I feel your pain mother fuckers...I really do. Let me show how much I do by presenting this sympathy smiley face.

Ummm, gaming pcs cost more than a 360 or ps3....my video card cost almost $500 so its not the point that people who play pcs games cant afford a console, its that they dont want to buy a console just to play nba live cause EA doesnt wanna make it next gen for pc. All other pc games that come out are next gen and make the xbox or ps3 graphics look like crap. Do a side by side and you will see, my buddy brought his ps3 over and fired up COD4, and i fired it up on my PC and he was speechless.

Why would someone buy a console just to play one game? The point is...the market is changing and EA is a business...move with the times. Now if they were actually making a good nba live on pc then I could understand the griping.

The main issue is that they (ok, ok, we) hope that each year they will fix the issues from the previous that hold the series back. Buuut they dont so that is why I've been playing 2005 lately with the modified 06 + 04 animations together.

I'll give you some magic beans Jao in exchange for your Live 2005 with the modified 06 and 04 animations.

actually, hopping into the calling-EA-an-ass-or-shit-or-whatever-you-want-to bandwagon wouldn't make any difference..we'll just have to move on and make live better..

Constructively demonstrating that we'd like a PC version that's a port of the 360/PS3 game would certainly be more effective.

they make more money in console games then pc version due to hackers and people that like to pirate games and movies you know those people..
there not stupid i think might release a pc version maybe 5 months after the release the game, after they make what they spent as far as in making and promotion, then their prophit. after they satisfied with the income they might just release the pc version maybe for a free download off their ea sports site:

when i got nba live 08 on pc i was so excited because i thought the graphics were gonna be like the next gen.....
then when i played it i was like wtf.....

True, NBA Live 09 PC seems a lost cause but at this time a return to the PC in the future hasn't been ruled out. All we can do is stress our desire for a PC version, then the ball's in their court.

Yeah this is really sucking news. EA is Why they won't realease NBA LIVE 09 on PC. I think it's time We make own NBA 09. Or 2k release NBA 2K9 on PC.

Well, EA should have known that the reason why they can still sell the products of the NBA Live series is because the game is playable on PC. If you look at the videos and screenshots from NBA 2K series, you'll learn that there's no way for EA's NBA Live series to compete against the NBA 2K series (I watched a video on youtube about the NBA 2K8 on PS3 and I absolutely believed that it was a real NBA game in the beginning!). If EA chooses not to release the PC version, then fine, the NBA Live series will lose its market soon and the sales would be even worse than ever.

I agree with you 100% on this one. If they did a port of the XBox360/PS3 version and released it for PC, I am certain everyone (or almost everyone) here would want a want a copy of it.

In the meantime, I'm getting me a PS3 so I can play NBA Live '09 and NBA 2K9...
