Salary Cap Editing Causes Game Crash

I edited the franchise database to make the salary cap 500 million recently and now my game crashes whenever I try to play any of the games in my season. Can anyone tell me why this might be?

The possibility that you might have made a mistake is the first thing that comes to mind. The game not accepting the change to such a high amount would be the second, a lot of people reported problems trying to use the $500 mil edits that were posted a while back.

What do you recommend?

I'd recommend starting again and trying to change the cap to a lower amount, say $80 mil. If it's still crashing then I'd suggest you've made a mistake during the editing process.

I put the cap lower and I still got the same error. I only changed what I was told to change in the tutorial, and the only thing that gets screwed up is the games I try to play. This is confusing.
