The forum rules wrote:Avoid advertising in the forum

Please do not post advertisements all over the forum. If you would like to let everyone know about a new patch that you have created or a new site that you have opened, please use the appropriate Announcements section. You may link to your website in your signature to encourage more traffic. Please refrain from advertising products that are for sale and completely unrelated to NBA Live; if in doubt, please check with the administration, exceptions can be made.

Is advertising a charity an exception to this?

I don't consider it a violation of any rules, but it's an ambitious endeavour to make in a video game forum.

Because excees saved money lying around is such a waste of natural resources that's why you must either spend it or give it.

Since when is money a requirement to live in a "better" place?
Last time I checked an earthquake is of a natural cause. It can happen everywhere even in "better" places like Japan or California so having money isn't a guarantee that people can live in a better place and avoid the wrath of nature.

Unless the earthquake was the result of underground nuclear testing.

I thought today's technology can determine when theres an BIG earthquake happening so ppl. are well aware of it... Maybe not in Philippines eh.

I'm pretty sure anyone in the area of a big earthquake happening is well aware of it...

I don't think today's technology can do it.

U guys ,please show your humanity and love,PLEASE!We need your help.

your just being annoying now. You're a fool if you think you are going to get people half way around the world to care about this cause. It is sad and unfortunate but people naturally are only concerned with what is present in their own lives. In a perfect world, I would care, but it just doesn't happen like that.

Please don't double post, you've already been warned about that.

What you're trying to do is noble and everything but you've got to remember that not everyone has a great deal of disposable income, especially when you're in a forum that has a lot of younger members. You're welcome to ask so long as you don't pester, but don't be too disappointed if you don't have a lot of luck.

That technology is only for detection of earthquakes not prevention.
It's not even an early detection system. Once it detects, the earthquake is about to happen in a moment, happening at the moment, or have already happened, none of which gives sufficient time to stop the earthquake (lol if it's possible now), go to a location which won't be hit by an earthquake, or prepare for the worst. Rich or poor people alike can only hope that the structure they are in is able to withstand and not collapse on them when the earthquake happens. Having money has nothing to do with the "less likely" occurrence of an earthquake. If an earthquake hits, it hits.

I hardly think a seismograph is exclusive to "better" countries, even a third world nation as the Philippines has one eh.
Better put more thought into your post before including countries to your argument eh.

I don't mean to discourage you, I just think you should keep a couple of things in mind. The first being that the patrons of a video game forum might not have a lot of disposable income and the second being that a lot of people are wary of sending money to an account that's been posted in an online forum.

It's not that everyone's racist or doesn't care, it's simply that this is a medium that probably isn't very successful in soliciting donations. I'm just saying you shouldn't be too disappointed if you don't get the response you're hoping for.
