How about posting stupid poll options which borderlines retardedness more than humor?

There must be some sort of "stupid" virus in the Seattle water.

Now tell me how many cm's longer did your penis grow by saying that to us ? I don't find anyone else in that thread having something against it, there sure are some, but I don't really find anything bad discussing about NBA, I mean, why are you here then ?

Yeah, it does actually. It is almost as effective as having a 5-digit post count, and putting in the effort to post in bold, blue font.

As a Laker homer the only thing that scares me is the San Antonio Spurs, I'd like to say Lakers in 6 but I have a feeling this is going to go 7. Spurs are a good veteran team, especially that old fart Robert Horry running around trying to hurt everyone, only thing that bastard is good for anymore. Go Lakes!!!!

You don't find anything bad discussing about the NBA? Did you expect a serious response to that? Really?

Yeah, it does actually. It is almost as effective as having a 5-digit post count, and putting in the effort to post in bold, blue font.

Oh noes, I really didn't think that that would be your response. Duh, why didn't I see the "you have 10000+ posts" retort coming? I mean seriously, it's not like people are creative nowdays. Creativity now days is making snide remarks via polls. Ofcourse, ofcourse...how silly of me.

Oksar, just not to make you feel like the complete incoherent dipshit that you are, "let me discussing about the NBA because I am here then for this talking about NBA."

I think everyone expects a pretty hard fought series, I'm a fan of Duncan's fundemental game and naturally a fan of the Lakers. Naturally I'm rooting for LA to win it, I'm a homer that way. I've always said that a great bigman with an all right supporting cast is usually the key to winning (and it will remain that way for quite a while)...I'm hoping the Spurs have gotten a bit old and that a team with an all right big man and a great guard can change up the formula a bit. Not to mention as to how fricking deep LA's roster seems to have become.

I'll say Lakers in 6 although 7 is very likely. Interesting series.

Any bets on who's Horry's target for this series? I'd say Gasol.

EDIT: Go Lakers.

Wed May 21, 2008 12:09 pm

I'd say Odom

Wed May 21, 2008 3:53 pm

I'm not sure Horry is that athletic enough to keep up with Odom. I'd say Thomas would be on Gasol, naturally Bowen would be on Kobe and I think Odom would be matched up by Finley.

Wed May 21, 2008 4:06 pm

Whatever happens I think that the Lakers will have a problem on the number 1 position.

Uhm, they didn't mean who Horry would defend. They meant who would he try to injure. (In reference to the whole body check episode on Nash in last years playoffs.)

Thu May 22, 2008 8:49 am

i say fuck it, let horry take out 3 or 4 players game 1. he gets suspended, the spurs move on

Thu May 22, 2008 9:20 am

Nah, I think Horry still has some Laker love in him. Wonder if he'd be willing to take out any of his current teammates...

Thu May 22, 2008 12:35 pm

I'm picking the Spurs. They play amazing defense. I have never seen them unable to stop a team's offense in a 7 game series. Occasionally they have a few rough games to start out the series, but Pop [i]always[i] makes a defensive adjustment and they shut down their opponent from there on. I have no doubt that they will make this series a slow, mucked up affair, and I don't think the Lakers will be able to match it. They are a very mediocre defensive team. They did a fairly good job against Utah's front line, but Gasol and Odom will not have the same effect on the 7'0 Tim Duncan that they had on the much shorter Carlos Boozer.

I picked the Spurs in 6. I wanted to say Spurs in 7 but even with the confidence I have in this team, I still am not sure if they could win a game 7 in LA.

I'm actually rooting for the Spurs this year, and traditionally I have always disliked them. I think I've grown to respect the style of basketball they play over the years, even with them eliminating one of my top 2 teams (Phoenix) almost every year.

Like flopping and trying to injure the other team's players?

Yeah.

I'm just hoping you're not naive enough to think that only the Spurs do that. Because if you are, you really haven't been watching much basketball.

Thu May 22, 2008 1:50 pm

Great game! A real Nail biter. Lakers look sluggish in the first (esp Mr MVP), then took back the game.

Thu May 22, 2008 1:59 pm

Going with Spurs in 7 much like many others. As much as I hate to say it because i dislike every player on the spurs but Tim Duncan; experience tends to play a huge role in the playoffs. Other than kobe, few of the current lakers have been in games this big before and I think that'll show. I'm not pulling for either team and as far as I'm concerned they could just hand the trophy to Boston now.

Also: about the flopping and injuring other players; yes it true other teams do it...hence why i dont like the teams that play that way Spurs included. The Argentinian squad seems to have interesting "tactics" to win. Would love to watch some vids of the year they won Worlds and see.

Yeahh... In the end of first half i was so furstraited and i turn my TV off.. BUt after time i wanna check the result only.. And i sow.. form 65-45 to 70 - 68.. Man that was a great Comeback.. Kobe and Gasol made it looks awesome... Esp the two lob pases to Pau.. Great game.. Great game.. (Y) (Y)

Thu May 22, 2008 2:20 pm

Gasol clearly slapped the ball away from Duncan's hand and into the baseline in one moment of the closing minute.

Thu May 22, 2008 2:23 pm

What a comeback by the Lakers! I thought they'll gonna lose that game.

Thu May 22, 2008 2:53 pm

Very impressive comeback by LA. Granted, the officiating was pretty bad, especially with the Gasol call, but its a taste of their own medicine.

Come on refs, I'm sick of the Spurs! Let LA win the next one! Keep the perfect record of Jackson winning every single series after winning Game 1 alive!

Thu May 22, 2008 3:50 pm

Nice game from the MVP.

Thu May 22, 2008 4:09 pm

Shit, that was a nice comeback indeed.
Very nice win.

Hehe, a 50-50 stand against officiating. (Y)

Thu May 22, 2008 4:49 pm

Gasol slapped the ball but last touch on Duncan. It's clear.

Thu May 22, 2008 6:17 pm

It's clear that the officials made the wrong call. Not that I don't like the Lakers to win but it is [s]really[/s] clearly a wrong call.
