WOW! Vince Carter

Thu Oct 30, 2003 1:57 pm

Vince Carter played amazing against the Eastern Conference Champs the New Jersey Nets. 39 points (15-30 fg) and 5 rebounds. 9-10 free throws. He took it to the basket almost every time. He had some HUGE clutch shots in the fourth and showed that he is not done for. I think head coach Kevin O' Neill has a little something to do with it.

I have a feeling he will be better than his old self (pre injury).

yes i must agree :D i watch the whole game...Bosh was good too (y)...i see VC back to the all-star second or third team

Thu Oct 30, 2003 2:11 pm

VC is back to his old form,, expect him to continue like today through out the season...

Thu Oct 30, 2003 3:08 pm

That was sweet. 39!

Thu Oct 30, 2003 3:36 pm

well with Curry and JYD in the lineup Raps needed 39 from VC to win that one............Vince for scoring title????

Thu Oct 30, 2003 4:11 pm

I know one game doesn't mean a whole lot but it is definately a possibility that he could get the scoring title.

Thu Oct 30, 2003 6:22 pm

whoa...didn't expect to see him play that good in his first game of the season but woooohoooo 39 points!

ps.Kenyon Martin played greatly 26 points and 11rebounds in 31 minutes!

Perhaps Vince will finally make up for lost time. It's good to see him start the season in such a positive way.

Vinsanity Is likely Back!

Vince's 360 degree's jam was number 2 on NBA Action: Preseason.
Number one was an amazing dunk by Gerald Wallace  . Well deserved IMO.

Sat Nov 01, 2003 2:20 pm

today VC had a good game with 26 pts,7 rbs and 5 asts...not as fantastic as the first one but still great overall game...

now highlights for tonite's game
TJ Ford was excellent (y) three asts shy of a triple double ( in his first regular season game)

Chandler was a monster by recording 22 rbs...
Curry was also dominate with 20 pts...
maybe those former hs player were pressure by Lebron :?: :?

Raps are 2-0 who would have thought it...

Baker is back with 24 pts and 8 rbs..

Billups may get into the all-star game this year...espically with his great 3 point shots...27 pts for him and 24 for Rip hamilton

Jason Kidd was the first player to record a triple double this season wif 21 pts,11 rbs and 14 asts...
Martin injured his left ankle and had to be carried off the court...didn't return...

Lewis scored 50 points in Japan

Yeah Vnce posted an excellent game once again after a rocky start. I think he will be fine this year. He is making big plays when they need him also.

VINCE IS BACK THE NBA LIVE 2004 CURSE WORKS

Sat Nov 01, 2003 11:00 pm

Well this rookie class started off with a BANG
1st it's Melo and Lebron and now T.J Ford has his way with the Pacers.......he had some nice moves in that game and showed a lot of confidence, i mean not many rookies get past their man and dare to drive at J Oneal and yet T.J Ford did so and scored ,wow, maybe Bucks won't be THAT bad

Sun Nov 02, 2003 6:03 am

VC's pass to bosh was amazing!

Chandler and Curry had to step up, the bulls couldn't afford to go 0-2 against 2 patsies. 22rebounds is pretty ridiculous though. pippen hitting some clutch shots in the 4th qtr. wow...

Sun Nov 02, 2003 8:40 am

i hope old DR. funk is back.also i hope he will do many amazing dunks :P

Fri Nov 07, 2003 2:19 pm

His last few games he hasn't been putting up a lot of scoring points but he is getting the trick done. Especially in the clutch. I would still like to see him get more touches with the ball.
HE IS DEFINATELY BACK.

Well Raps are winning it with Defense => Kevin Oneill
they beat the Mavs and 3 starters had 4pts each with Carter and Davis in dbl figures. I wonder when Alvin Williams is gonna start shooting like he should, they won't be winning many games if he doesn't start showing up

Mon Nov 10, 2003 11:32 am

Well Vince got 34pts 10rebs and 6 assist against Denver  .

Already 4 straight wins in Toronto. :D The raps have made a good start for the season.

Tue Nov 11, 2003 7:33 am

VC vince is puting up good numbers.
i want to see vince´s between the legs windmill dunk in a game

Tue Nov 11, 2003 9:02 am

Same here. Every time I see him on an open court driving to the basket I always expect him to do something Ive never seen before.

Wed Nov 12, 2003 4:26 pm

another great game by vince carter against the blazers with 33 points 11-23 shooting.

Wed Nov 12, 2003 5:02 pm

Tonight's game vs. Portland was good not just for VC's offense, but for his defense. He was guarding Rasheed Wallace for most of the game and really held him in check. He also did a great job against Nowitzki the other night.

Wed Nov 12, 2003 5:17 pm

man too bad they lost by three...stupid jailblazers :x holding back on the Raps for their first road win  :x on a positve note VC yet again surpassed the 30 point mark...33 points for Vinsanity...HE'S BACK (Y)
