the search button in the main page is gone does anyone know why?

As long as you're logged in, it should show up as normal.

maybe its due to your abnormally large signature

no luck it's still not up for me. I've tried logging in and out like 6 times and still no luck. Now i can't find certain mods

It's definitely there, I'm not sure why it wouldn't be showing up. Which browser are you using?

i use regular internet explorer, now i just switched to firefox and still no luck

It should be working properly in IE and Firefox. An update was installed recently that prevents users from using the search function or viewing profiles unless they're logged in as part of the ongoing troubleshooting and as an added security measure against bots.
