Keyboard problem

Hey,
ive !!BOUGHT!!! nba live 08 today and after i had installed it a few hours ago i wanted to start playing. everything was just fine, but when i choosed the teams and had to pick up a side my keyboard didn't react... i was searching and searching in the settings, in the config files and reinstalled the game twice, but nothing... my controler and my keyboard don't work and i have no fucken idea why...
i have the newest drivers for my keyboard => microsoft digital media pro keyboard (should be ok - readme says a microsoft compatible keyboard is req)
my controler is not supported but shows up correctly ingame (gravis eliminator game pad pro) but its the same - cant use it to choose a side...
does anyone has a idea what i should do? i just want to play the game!

did you try moving the mouse to pick sides??????????????

AirJordan360 is right. You can't move through menus using the keyboard. You have to select sides with a mouse.
