it's the layer in the DDS file... you can see it in the CHANNELS in PHOTOSHOP...

you should export files from FSHx as DDS not as BMP...

bmp has no alpha layer and dds has...

to be simpler...

yes that's why they are shiny... to conver... paste your bmp file to any dds file then save as...

Can you explain to me how to do it and what it is?? Once I know what that is I promise to put the alpha layer thing on and release them

the alpha layer is a mask layer which you can find in the channels menus in photoshop it's a seperate layer which control the light for the whole model. black means no light areas white means light areas but if you didn't include the alfa layer with your cyberface the game it self will generat a total white alfa layer which cause the extra shine on the player cyberface. HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU

Calm down my bro.. there is always a solution. You can create a new player and put Jackson's face into that player. Just like when Albys created Landry and Hayes from scrath they both didn't exist until Albys created them. EA just ignored Hayes and didn't put him in the game. I was real pissed man I'm like what the f***.
Anyway you can show us the face and/or create a new player like I've said and add the face in. That way we've got J.Jackson

I think you can just go and create a new player, give him the right name
for instance, Jarmaine Jackson. Then fill everything in, just like normal and make sure the value is realistic. Put him in Free Agents. After you finished creating him, open up players.dbf of the save file that contains him with DB Commander or Microsoft Excel.
Click on the column that contains last name and press Ctrl+F. The search box will appear, type in Jackson and keep pressing next until you find Jarmaine. (there are many Jackson). In there, scroll left and you have to change these value:

[b]Is created > False Is Generated > False Is Historic> False

and find the PLAYERPKG, this tells you the name of the file of that player.
For example, Carl Landry would be calandr_.
Normally, its the first two letters of the first name and first five of the last name. Also, see PLAYERID and see what his value is.

Now go to plyrface.viv, find the file of Jackson and put your cyberface on.
After you finish with the face, put the .fsh file into SGSM folder.

Now open APPEARANCE.dbf and find Jackson there by PLAYERID number what was in PLAYERS.DBF,in APPEARANCE.DBF its APPEARID but number is the same.Then change FACEID to -1,Save and quit.
