Batch files causes pc shutdown Andrew help!

Mon Apr 07, 2008 2:51 pm

Since I reformatted my PC, I can no longer use any batch file (CDBFlite etc.). Cause whenever I try to run them. . .an error prompts saying that the PC will be shutdown. . .
What should I do?
My OS is XP Sp2, 1gb ram, 256mb 6600, 2.66ghz celeron. . .

I can't finish my next substitution fix 1.4 if this continues. . .
Please help me fix this issue. . .

Thanks!

Are any security alerts displayed? I've never run into any problems like that with batch files before.

A box prompts saying that the PC will be shutdown as sson as I run the batch file (accurate.bat or fatiguefix08maek.bat).
I tried reformatting again to clean install everything and still I can't run a batchfile.

I have a hunch that it's only a matter of security settings because before I reformat my pc, I don't have the same issue hence I'm using the same OS. Or maybe I have to install something. . .

Mate. . .I have my new matrix for the substitution and this issue is hindering me to finish it. . .

Thanks anyway Andrew!
