A SOUTH Australian father and daughter have revealed they are a couple, and have had a child together.

John and Jenny Deaves of Mount Gambier reunited 30 years after Mr Deaves separated from Jenny's mother.

Jenny was 31 and just two weeks after meeting, father and daughter had sex.

"John and I are in this relationship as consenting adults," Mrs Deaves told Channel 9's 60 Minutes.

"We are just asking for a little bit of respect and understanding."

So for those keeping score at home, the baby's father is also her grandfather and her mother is her half-sister. I'm assuming they won't be able to marry but if they did, I believe that would also make the baby her father/grandfather's half-sister-in-law and of course, it would make father and daughter husband and wife. It would also make a decent Springer episode.

i saw it on 60 minutes, i really feel sorry for the kids. think of how everyone would have treated them at school today, and for the rest of their lives after being humiliated by their mother and father/grandpa

I know, it's made even creepier by the casual way in which they discuss their relationship. They might as well be talking about having a relationship despite a large age gap with the way they describe and defend it.
