Problem with locale.eng

a long time a go, i've install the espn 2008 by deazeal patch, to nba live 08. but the i've unninstaled, replaced the locale.eng, but the game always load the old! i don't now why!
i've reinnstal the game from cd and the game load the locale from deazeal, this f*cking file didin't exist in my pc and the game load this, don't load the actual locale.eng in loc whatever i do.
i want put in game locale.eng from new songs patch, but the game always load the locale from deazeal. i've tried to teporally delete the loc folder to see what happens... but the game load the f*cking old locale...
any way to fix this and make the game load the actual locale file? please!!
