Controller issues.

I was wondering if anyone has been having this problem.

I cant configure my controller with my pad that i use (Airflo) everytime i take a shot its like he doing a finger roll from everywhere on the court. He wont take a normal jumpshot. Is there something im missing to configure the controller. If there is a way to, i could use some help on this ....thanks in advance.

NBA Live 08 uses two seperate buttons for jumpshots and dunks/layups. Have you got both functions assigned in your controller setup?

yeah, there both different.....its odd because i just watched a couple of minutes of a game comp vs comp....and they dont take jump shots either....its all finger rolls from everywhere.....it has to be a bug somewhere

Are you using a custom aiact.viv or any other community made patches? If so, there might be a problem there. I've never heard of that problem happening out of the box though; NBA Live 08 PC has a lot of issues but that one's never come up before.

nothing custom, just the roster updates.

Which roster update? I believe some updates do include their own modified aiact.viv file.

ive tried both.

My advice at this stage would be to try reinstalling a game. Try playing with the default rosters before installing any other updates to see if the problem has been resolved.
