I HATE THIS FREAKING GAME!!!!!

I just had to come here to rant tonight. I haven't played this game in 2 months so I thought I'd give it a shot tonight.

The Menus are THE WORST in the world. I just spent 45 stinking minutes setting up the game to get ready to play.


1) Spent 25 minutes trading players (after applying Andrew's latest roster patch ) to account for Kidd to Mavs, Thomas to Spurs, etc.

2) Created new Spurs season.

3) Simed up to Feb.

4) started game

5) selected controller

6) selected defensive scheme

7) realized game defaulted to 12 min quarters.

5) quit game

6) restarted game

7) repeated steps 5-7

8) realized stinking game didn't load the rosters I just created.

9) quit season

10) loaded rosters

11) started season

11) simed to Feb.

12) started game

13) repeated steps 5-7

14) realized stinking game defaulted to 12 min quarters AGAIN!



A complete waste of 45 minutes of my time. The menus in this game are the freaking absolute worst there are. When you change rosters, you can't just click on the player and drag and drop like any normal freaking game. No, this shit console port forces you to click on player, select from 4 choices, select player you're replacing...


I have no idea how Andrew has the patience to edit players and trade them into his rosters. You're a better man than me Andrew. Right now, I want to hunt down these EA Crap programmers and pummel some programming sense into them. WORST LAYOUT AND MENUS EVER!

Trading the players to their respective teams took about 15 minutes. Then re-arranging each roster so that starters are starters and scrubs are off the bench took another 10 minutes at least. The menus are just so utterly gay and have unnecessary steps in between. Let's say I want to put Duncan on the bench and put in Oberto in his place. Instead of just dragging and dropping like in past games, I have to click on Duncan, then click on swap players, then click on Oberto. In addition, instead of putting all 15 players on the screen at once in a smaller font, they put 8 guys on each screen so I have to scroll down before selecting. THis may be no big deal if you're doing it once but if you have a shitload of players to switch, it becomes a major f'ing deal.

I believe JWL3 was using the previous version of my update, which didn't include the latest trades.

Funny thing is he actually didn't pinpoint any of the game's REAL problems. Most of his problems were his own fault.
