Edit numbers?

Can anyone help me how to edit the Jersey numbers of players? Because I'm doing a roster update manually and I can't find any button or anything in 2k8? By the way, I'm playing it on ps2

Click on the player. Go to Edit Player. Go to Vitals (the first section) click on it and scroll down, Number should be beneath school i think.

I can't see the Vitals. What console do you play 2k8? I play on ps2 and maybe there are differences on the edit player mode on ps2 and Xbox 360

The ps2 version may be different to x360/ps3

Can you even change the players numbers on ps2 yet without having to start a season?
I had 2k6 &7 on the ps2 and you couldnt do it then.
Had to have Iverson wearing number 14
