Too many steals and fastbreaks in Live 2004

Postby nickia on Sun Oct 19, 2003 3:22 am

everytime when i pass the ball, the AI will tips it out the boundary or steals it.

evereytime i missed a shot, the AI got the rebounds just throws it to the front court and do a dunk/layup

passing animations look bad, players are passing the ball like they're play a baseball game. most of time are jumping pass and 1 hand baseball pass, even no one is guarding him

Start making your shots :D
Thats the only solution i can think of. Also get back on D. dont let them have the advantage.

Get a man back and stay underneath the basket with your hands up.
It works really well in Live 2004, and it's very hard for anyone to score if someone is directly in front of them challenging the shot. If the offensive player has to double clutch it almost never goes in.
I also draw a lot of charges that way as long as I'm outside the cylinder. Hope that helps!

Man, from what i've heard there are too little fastbreaks and the perfect amount of steals... so don't blame the AI. It's not the AI, it's you. If you can't make your shots and not get back on D, the computer will take advantage. if you can't pass straight the computer will steal it. This is a good thing.

Try playing on an easier difficulty level until you get used to the gameplay. (Y)

Yeah, well at least for users, it's not enough fast breaks and when there are, you usually don't have the open lane. It may be a liiil bit more realistic, but it's impossible to cherry pick like I did all last year, because when u throw passes, the players stop, instead of havin the ball thrown toward the basket so the player runs catches it and is right there at the goal.
