WHY ME AND MY FRIENDS CANT PLAY IN THE LAN WITH ROSTERS?

I THINK NBA LIVE USES THE DEFAULT ROSTERS FOR INTERNET GAMES AND LAN GAMES

razbryant8, a folder called mpdata is created and the original rosters are loaded into it when you click "create game" to connect. I think there may be a workaround for this.
Go to your My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\saves\ directory and go into the folder of the rosters you want to use. Press CTRL+A on your keyboard to select all the files and press CTRL+C to copy them. Go into your My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\database\mpdata\ folder and paste the files and click yes to overwrite any existing files. Now press CTRL+A again on your keyboard to select all the files. Right click on them(any of them) and select properties at the bottom of the pop up menu. When the properties window opens up, check the box tot he left of "Read-only". This should prevent NBA Live from overwriting these files when you want to play online. Start your online game and you should be able to play with custom rosters.

Ok, start Live first and setup your online match and click "Start Game" so it is waiting to connect, then alt tab out of the game and repeat what I said in the post. The person who is hosting must do this.
If that doesn't work, backup the originaldb folder and copy the rosters over the originaldb folder, because the originaldb rosters are the ones that Live copies into the mpdata folder for online play.
