Clutch Rating-Substitutions [simming]

Sun Feb 10, 2008 12:09 am

Hi Guys,

I don't know how to break into the game with hex editors...

I know this info will sound crazy. I have been tweaking the ratings of the players to try to get subs into the game when simming. I think there is a break through here. I fooled with the clutch rating and found that lowering the clutch ratings of the stars, the subs played more. I have been simming for over an hour abd everyone has subbed into the game when the clutch ratings were around 50. In addition, I found that michael Jordan played a lot of minutes with Stamina only on 70.

Take care,
Jay

Interesting results. When you say you've been simming though, are you talking about a CPU vs CPU game or simulating games in Dynasty/Season Mode?

Maek's fix is working well, but, the most annoying bug is that the PG never subs out.

I hope this "clutch method" works.

I don't think so mate. CLUTCH = LUCKY SHOTS.
But if you find it working then release a fix so that we can try it.

Goodluck!
BTW, don't waste your time hexing the suborder.bin or lineup.bin, they don't affect the substitution but the nbalive08.exe only. Darn!
