PC-CD release date lottery

11/11 is my prophecy

I think they'll stick with the 4th, might be nice to have it before the season starts in the future EA...

saw it too....11/11....that's really ridiculous. That's a month from now.

It'll be even more than a week after Fifa 2004. I thought they were producing the games at the same time....so why the delay ? They aren't porting it from Xbox or PS2, are they ?

Hope they'll release a demo BEFORE the release instead of after, this time

i mean we should be thankful EA even wants to give us pc users a game, i mean to EA we are nothing they jus care about there console people.
when it comes it will come, i think it will be here like around christmas, they should make a pc counter at EA so we will know and not jus go off hunches

True but still, it's not a charity. they are doing it to make profit.
PC version of Live has a huge fan base and without the fan base, they will lose a lot of buyers, both for PC and console.

Yes indeed...the PC gamers and addons makers have made the whole EA games into what it is now - not the marketing or the quality or the support they showed to help the addon makers (which they never cared about between 95 and 2003).

It's the PC community that runs the whole year on addons and rosters and stuff, not the consoles, so indeed, at least give us a date beforehand and not when the clock starts winding down to it's final days/hours.

To be honest, not helping a hand with some better kind of editor for rosters and stuff (listing file formats, etc) or just not being a bit friendlier will cause more people to download the game somewhere some day instead of pre-ordering it. Well....maybe they'll get that someday and help build an even bigger addon community

gamershell.com is now suddenly listing the european release for 17th october for all consoles, including PC. And according to the follwing article that was published today it will be available for the PC in the US 11th november. I believe 11th november is a safe bet for the european release also

i feel u chip and rork, my statement was purely sarcastic and i think the pc version is leaps and bounds above the console i been playing live since 95 on pc. but tell that to ea we still get treated like crap, so now we have to wait im jus angry cause madden and nhl get released on time with no delay but live gets delayed
