but there are some players who doesn't have a face (eg. chuck hayes of houston) and the ball (on some sides) seems like the lines are not in the right place? how do i fix this.. thanks! keep up the good work!

Hamilton is not a better 3 point shooter than people like Ray Allen, Michael Redd, and Rashard Lewis. He may have a better percentage on the season, but you should look at the numbers made more. I think Lewis leads the league in 3 pointers made!

I think the shot % is more important than number of shots in in 3pt FG value.

The number of 3pt shots is regulated by "3pt frequency" in players.dbf, and i have set this value (and 3ptFG) from nba.com stats.

Lewis shoot a lot of 3pt, with good % (38,9) but not great.
Allen is a great shooter, but this year your % are not fantastic...

Hmm you still didn't understand my point. Allen and Lewis have lower percentage than Hamilton because in real life, they shoot threes in more difficult situations, when Hamilton only shoots threes when he's wide open. However, that does NOT mean Hamilton would be more capable of making a three when it counts than Allen and Lewis. If I controlled the East all stars and was down by three at the end of the game, it is ridiculous that I should be giving the ball to Hamilton to shoot the three instead of Ray Allen! The point is, if I were to control a team in Live, where I would dictate the 3pt frequency, then I should not be able to make a three more easily with Hamilton than with say Ray Allen, which would be the case with your ratings. (Your ratings are good for simulation, but not for actual game play.) I really shouldn't have to go this far to explain, as it is common sense that Ray Allen is a better three point shooter than Richard Hamilton and should be rated higher.

You have reason, i fix this thing in prox version (Ray and Lewis improve).
However, in RR v1 Ray Allen and Rip Hamilton have both 82 in 3pt shot, Rip don't have more capable of making a 3...

with spurs or china 4 example it always crashes

for me works perfect with these teams their game crash by cause of other patches with high resolution sorry my english

i installed everything is all nice but 2 problems i have is that when i play a game it goes really slow like slow motion i put the game speed in 51 but still slow.
and one more thing in the crowd there is like a brown moutain lol is weird but good job in it

My game is crashing every time after installing this patch.

I hate this player, I saw him in italy

his averages were 8.5 pts in 23 minutes, very bad..

and so less minutes for Belinelli.. Don Nelson is in trouble imho

he has just yesterday made 9 pts in 13 mins, he could play more minutes..

so far i didnt see anyone saying that they dont experience any crashes in game.. btw ill try my luck later after downloading this patch.. i hope i wont exp any crashes ^^

when i use lagoas courts, jersey packs by lean, 1x shoes v3.5 nd v3.0 by CHNxiaouju, the game still crashes...

i just followed the instructions, to use the suggested courts, real shoes and jersey pack...

My game crashed. I only used your patch and the real shoes pacth that you said was necessary. Can you fix it?

it is only options, but when u install settings from this patch... on this settings is bigger resolution than is copacity on your monitor change detail settings in your game and try this patch... this patch works on my PC (i did not replace my settings: C:\Documents\NBA Live 08\settings\settings.dat) i have only one problem: when i use alternative jersey's for home and visitors teams -) game crushed!! but it is ok

then pls somebody upload original ea settings data
if this is just the reason i would be so happy....

but anyway i cant belive because with some teams i havent any crahes
like when i play germany vs. greece 4 example

What's files need exactly?

Repeat the installation, TonyP9.
After read file Readme.

My roster is tested for a long time, no crash (installated correctly).
If you have crash:
1- you have a lot of files in high res. in sgsm
2- EA bug (ex. time-out called, and crash)


Avinavi: your crashs depend some of files from sgsm. Especially some files of Lagoa's court. Reduce resolution with fshX program (read Pdub's thread, link in Pdub signature )

please in the next version release with WebberF1 new sigshoots

The prox release have a lot of new features, and yes, i think also new Webber sigshots.
