*TORONTO RAPTORS DYNASTY*
I try to play at least 3 games a week. Mostly I play on the weekend because of school and all.
But hopefully, I'll be able to make a fun and exciting dynasty for those here at the NBA Live Forums
Also, I'm accepting any suggestions to make my dynasty better!
Just don't suggest to trade Bosh, cause that ain't happening.
And yes, I did make these banners :)

RAPS DOMINATE THE SIXERS IN SEASON OPENER!
Image
CB4 slams one hard on Andre Iguodala!

1st Quarter: The 76ers only lead in the game was in the 1st quarter. They scored the first basket, but that was pretty much it. CB4 hit back-to-back 3 pointers shooting 6/9 from the field in the 1st minutes of the game before leaving with 2 early fouls. This is when Anthony Parker took over scoring 12 points in the 1st quarter!

2nd Quarter: Bosh sat out the first 9 minutes of the 2nd quarter before coming back and hitting a slam dunk on Andre Iguodala! The dynamic duo of Ford and Calderon struggled by not managing to score in the first half. Andrea Bargnani put the Raps' lead up to 20 after hitting a buzzer beating 3. Jamario Moon also grabbed 6 of his 11 rebounds this quarter.

3rd Quarter: The 76ers tried to make their comeback early with Samuel Dalembert blocking the Raps' next 3 consecutive shots, and Willie Green hitting 3 consecutive 3 pointers. Coach Sam Mitchell was furious at his team for their 20 point lead going down to 7. This is when Andrea Bargnani started to dominate scoring 10 points in the last few minutes of the quarter. Ford and Calderon also managed to score their first points in the 3rd quarter.

4th Quarter: This quarter was all about Ford and Bosh. Ford's 7 of his 9 assists were to Chris Bosh. CB4 dominated the paint scoring almost 3/4 of his shots from there. Obviously, the Raps won this game. CB4 had a game high of 31 points, but struggled on the glass only grabbing 4 boards. Jamario Moon lead the team in rebounds with 11, Il Mago came in second with 9. TJ Ford finished the game with 9 assists. Calderon struggled coming up with just 3.

Player Of The Game: Chris Bosh
31Pts off of 13/22 shooting. 3/5 from the 3-point stripe and 2/3 from the free-throw line.

Oh and BTW, the only reason I put Garbo on the IL list, is because I'm following the actual Raptors Roster. Even though TJ Ford is still injured :P But that doesn't mean I won't make any trades.

RAPS BATTLE BACK AGAINST THE NETS!
Image
CB4 Blocks on one end, dunks on the other!

1st Quarter: The Nets took an early 15-4 lead in the first minutes of the game. Chris Bosh struggled shooting only 1/6 from the field. The rest of the Raptors also struggled shooting a combined 7/18. The Nets went off to a quick start when Vince Carter's windmill dunk sparked the arena and his teammates. From then on, the Nets shot 16/20 in the 1st quarter and had a confortable 16 point lead over the Raptors.

2nd Quarter: In the 2nd Q, the Raps made a good push cutting the lead down to 8. The Nets shot horrible in the 2nd Q after Jason Kidd left the game temporarily because of a sprained right hand. He would return to the game in the 4th quarter. Sam Mitchell made a risky maneuver by putting TJ Ford and Jose Calderon on at the same time! Mitchell's risk paid off. Ford got Calderon open for two 3-pointers. Jamario Moon silenced the crowd after dunking a hard two hander over Richard Jefferson. The Raptors closed the 1st half strong.

3rd Quarter: The Nets got their momentum back after a long talk with Lawrence Frank in the locker room. Vince Carter and Jamal Magloire lit up in the 3rd scoring a combined 34 points. The Raps answered back with Bosh blocking Magloire on end, and dunking it hard on the other. The quarter would end with Toronto leading 94-90.

4th Quarter: The final Q was all about Jason Kidd. Andrea Bargnani came into the quarter shooting 6/7 from the field. Kidd would respond finding Richard Jefferson all alone in the corner burying the . There was 1:00 remaining in the game. The Raps were up 120-114. Kidd nailed a three ball. Bosh on the other end would go for the dunk, but miss! Kidd grabbed the rebound and rushed down the floor to get a layup. Kris Humphries tries to block the shot, but fouls Kidd instead. The ball is still in the air and goes straight in the net. Kidd makes his foul shot and the game is tied. There's 12.8 seconds left on the clock and the Raps have no timeouts left. Calderon runs down the floor trying to get the ball to Bosh. Bosh however is double-teamed. Then Calderon spots a wide open Juan Dixon in the corner and pulls up for the shot. *SWISH* Ball Game.

Player Of The Game: Chris Bosh
22Pts 7Reb 7Ast. 3 boards and 3 assists shy of a Triple-Double

Raps Have A Lot To Do
By Skill Matic

Raptors Coach Sam Mitchell

The Toronto Raptors have won their last two games against two of their division rivals. They will be facing their third division rival in 2 days: The Boston Celtics. Last year, the Celtics once again failed to make a playoff spot. They also failed to get a Top 3 draft pick after having the second worse record in the league in 2006-2007. But their luck turned the other way when they traded their #5 Draft Pick: Jeff Green to the Seattle Sonics for Ray Allen. This was just the beginning. They also traded 5 players for Minnesota Timberwolve powerhouse Kevin Garnett. They only have a few days to practice. Hopefully the Raptors won't have a tough time when they face the new and improved Boston Celtics.

In The Gym & Beyond

"LET'S HUSTLE"-Coach Sam Mitchell
"We have to get this right! Or else KG will make you eat spalding, LET'S GET TO IT!"

The Toronto Raptors were in the gym running plays and working out to prepare for their game against the Boston Celtics.

"Alright guys, that was a good practice. Now go out and have lunch and meet back here at 1:00" -Coach Sam Mitchell

The Raps Team head off to different food joints to eat.
Jose and Garbo head off to a little Spainiard restaurant and have some Paella.
Carlos Delfino brings Joey Graham to go have some Argentina cuisine.
Andrea Bargnani, Jamario Moon, TJ Ford & Jason Kapono head to Pizza Pizza for a slice or two.
Anthony Parker brings Darrick Martin, Maceo Baston and Rasho Nesterovic to an Israeli restaurant.
And Juan Dixon and Kris Humphries just enjoy themselves a bit and go to Hooters.
All these food joints are at least 5 minutes away from the Raptors Practice Facility.
Chris Bosh on the other hand doesn't go too far to eat today.
Instead, he goes right across the street and orders a sandwich from Subway. After he finishes he goes right back in the gym to rest himself and then starts practicing his 3-pointers.

"Yo Chris" - Coach Sam Mitchell
"What you doing here so early? You still have 45 minutes left in your lunch break."
"Just thought I would take some time to practice my 3-point shots" -CB4
"*Laughs* Who do you think you are, Larry Bird?" -Coach Sam Mitchell
"*Laughs* No, I just thought I would practice them just in case. Garnett is a defensive force you know"-CB4
"Good looking out. But you know you've got past guys like KG before and you know I taught you about attacking the rim." -Coach Sam Mitchell
"Yeah I know. But it aint all about the game on Sunday. Every chance I get, I want to be able to improve my jump shot. I missed a lot of shots last night against the Nets. And I want to be one of those big men who can practically do it all. :P" -CB4
"*Laughs* Alright Chris, go practice. I gotta meet with some reporters outside." -Coach Sam Mitchell
"*Laughs* Yeah, thanks Sam." -CB4

As Chris Bosh continues to practice his 3-point shot, Sam Mitchell goes to GM Bryan Colangelo's office to talk about the organization.

"Hey Bryan, Chris is really showing some effort in practice this morning." -Sam Mitchell
"He came back early to practice some jump shots. He's really come a long way. That man is going to be bigger than he already is one day.."
"Yes, I agree. Chris shows a promising future in this franchise. By the way, I needed to talk to you about something." -Bryan Colangelo
"What is it?" -Sam Mitchell
"I was having some thoughts of getting a better Center in our rotation." -Bryan Colangelo
"We already have Andrea, and we have Rasho as a backup. Isn't that pretty good for now?" -Sam Mitchell
"It is, but it's really hard to see Andrea start in 82 games. He's more of a better player when he comes off the bench. Like last year, and Rasho appears to be struggling. He hasn't been doing well in our last two games." -Bryan Colangelo
"So you might trade Rasho?" -Sam Mitchell
"Maybe. But not right away, I'll wait a few games and see how our players are progressing. Because there are some teams coming to me offering on some players. But we'll see what happens.." -Bryan Colangelo
"Oh alright. Which centers did you have in mind?" -Sam Mitchell
"Well, let's see.. I like Samuel Dalembert. He's been doing well. And then there's Tyson Chandler and Marcus Camby. But I would have to put up pretty high offers for them. Plus, I feel that Chris won't rebound as much with one of those guys in our roster. Here are some other centers I have in mind: Andrew Bynum, Jamal Magloire, LaMarcus Aldridge & Erick Dampier." -Bryan Colangelo
"I see, well I'll leave you to think about this." -Sam Mitchell

As Sam Mitchell and the rest of the Raptor players return to practice, this ends the segment of Behind The Hardwood

I like the behind the hard wood segment keeps your 'chise fresh in my opinion. I like that you havent overhauled the roster yet but you have pointed out the teams biggest weakness. Hope you get a solid deal done.

Mods please close this topic.
Sorry about this. I've decided to make a new Raps Dynasty
And that's going to take a while, so I'm closing this one down.
But I guarantee that the next one will be much better!
