So consider this your warning. Next Step is a ban from these forums.

My vote would still go to NBA Live 06.

He spelled download wrong, so it doesn't count.

I would downl...- BUY either 2005 or 07 (provided you download SUM).

i would suggest live 07(just don't buy 08 - it sucks)

*1000 post in the NBA Live General

07 a nice game...but as Lamrock93 said, you'll have to download SUM too..
05 is good too...the only problem is roster and commentary not updated..

Thu Dec 20, 2007 3:26 pm

05 worked for me as well... patching the rosters afterwards and the game got better. :D

I had the most fun with 07 after the SUM mod

I would have to concur. Time for EA to fire the entire staff again. :D

NBA LIVE 07
On my first ever simulation, The Clippers beat the Mavericks 90 to 76

I would have to say NBA Live 07. Not just because of SUM or the breakthroughs that were made during it's time, but just about every patch for 08 is compatible. Many fixes and customization opportunities make it a great game as long as you take advantage and use them. Custom cameras, gameplay, graphics, simengine, and the many mods you can download for it make it a great game. Out of the box it's got some issues. Despite having to learn and apply the tediousness method of stopping the PG from going coast to coast on 3 of every 4 possessions, it actually played a good game of basketball. 07 was the first challenging Live game for me since 2003.

Buy 07.

It´s unique. Separated lay-up/dunk button. Has a official patch, and hundreds of graphical patches too.

It's a pity that i doesn't have go-to-moves

With addition of the roster and sgsm patches fantastically done by a few forumner, I would say NBA Live 2005 is the best

NBA Live 05 & 06

(Y)

Sat Mar 01, 2008 4:23 am

NBA Live 2000 (Y)

I actually played that game for like 4 years, until I went console and without the option to make the game the way I want to, Live was (N).

I'm looking to go back to Live on PC again. So I'm in for more replies.

1. NBA Live 2005
2. NBA Live 2007 with SUM

If you don't mind the FSS concept, NBA Live 06 and NBA Live 07 (once patched) were fairly enjoyable, I'd place NBA Live 06 slightly ahead of it since you could disable FSS without editing any ratings. Otherwise, NBA Live 2005 would probably be the best of the recent releases that doesn't utilise FSS.
