Since I didn´t found out any Philly thread I decided to start one. Here you can talk anything about 76ers(like who they should draft, any traded rumors etc). Feel free to talk about it!

Personally I would like that 76ers would draft Acie Law(not much seen, but what I saw I liked him), if any bigger prospect wouldn´t stay on the table. I think we need good big man.

We are in desperate need for a decent PF, that's for sure. But looking at the roster it seems like we need to improve almost every single position in order to have a chance to make the playoffs...

I think they should try to trade up the draft in order to take one of the PF's in the draft but they don't really have many pieces to use except Andre Miller and Sam Dalembert who don't have great value because of their salaries.

Last couple of weeks of the season gave me hope for next year. The obvious need is a PF, like Drama said. Any Garnett to Philly rumors yet?

they could package all 3 of thier first round picks to move up some.

KG to philly would be nice, but im hearing were gonna draft spencer hawes.
alternatively we could give minnesota dalembert, miller, ollie, and draft picks, but that would screw our team over

so bumping this up. 76ers hasn´t had great off-season, recently one bench players trade and one signing
76ers sign Calvin Booth:

76ers trades Steven Hunter and Bobby Jones for rights for Ricky Sanchez and Reggie Evans:

That´s just depressing

We're on our way to the top.

Woooo Sixers are going to be good this season......hopefully.

Of course, Breakout year for Korver. As long as they give him solid minutes they have nothing to worry about. No more of this 30 minutes per game crap.

Korver is garbage. I expect Iggy to be an all star this season though.

I really feel like linking to a picture called "join the man train" in response to this, but I have a feeling it might get me banned.

this is one young team.

I think that's enough for one day.

Only two things I liked in the Sixers opener:
Reggie Evans: 15 boards (6 off, 9 def) in 22 mins.
And the Sixers sweet looking black jerseys.
Fri Nov 02, 2007 11:50 am
pftt.. That's what happens when you let Bargnani and an injured Bosh start on your front court. Even though Evans is a nutty rebounder, the Raptors are capable of making any centre or foward look like Dennis Rodman.

Quit hating, your team won.

So it's the first winning streak for the Sixers, currently at 3. Minny's next and then the Kings, so maybe they can extend it.
Mo's playing the young guys more. Stefanski's already giving orders
Fri Dec 14, 2007 5:51 am
WOW, 4 wins in a row!
Seriously, I didn't expect them to have such a streak at any point during this season.
By the way, (for those who remember the thread I once made about this) I still strongly believe that Mo Cheeks is on crack. Just look at him during games, especially during tough stretches getting all nervous and stuff. Some of his facial expressions kind of remind me of Dubya. Seriously, just compare them, Cheeks is the black Bush, the expressions, the hair...it's all there. Plus he doesn't know what he's doing either.

Ditto. I don't think he's good at adjusting to situations.
What happens to Larry Brown, since he is the consultant when Billy King was still president and GM. Is Larry Brown still a consultant or is Stefanski grooming him up for him to coach again?

Sixers 5 win a row and right now 8th seed of the East. It´s weird being already back on playoff picture, even if in the weak as East are down.
Just amazed
Thu Feb 14, 2008 8:59 pm
Yeah, this is crazy. They're in rebuilding mode and pretty young. I don't think anybody expected them to be up there in the race for a playoff spot.
I bet the whole organization was just hoping for this season to pass by as quickly as possible so they can draft a decent player and start anew in 08/09. Nobody saw this coming.
But I don't think they'll maintain this spot and actually make it to the playoffs.
Fri Feb 15, 2008 2:06 am
I think the same about the PO spot, with Chicago coming from back, but it´s still great seeing this
