WHEN WILL NBA LIVE 2008 Official Update Comes out!?

It is Almost Dec. and it is 4 monthes since its released!
When will the official updat ever come out?

Here are more problems to be fixed beside the A.I. intelligent and the Crashs.

1) Online play: horrible gameplay Slider setting. Hope there will be an upgrade that allow the player to do the slider setting by themselves (They disable the slider in online game).
2) if gameplay slider cannot be added, can default setting be more "NBA REAL" in a way?
The current online gameplay setting has these problems:

-TOO EASY TO DUNK! The Field Force rate is surely too high (75).
It is too simple to dunk over 3 guys with some low dunk value guys.

-Too difficult to do Defense, the FG % always around 60% for all online players

- Too low at 3Pt %. No online player is able to shoot 3pt more than 20%(avg is 10%). And that is surely way too low compare to real nba (should be at 30% at least) and the slider is setted at 25 for default.

- Inbound pass bugs: cannot function the inbound pass play sometimes.

For Dynasty mode, everyone notice
in NBA LIVE 2007
PPG was TOO LOW..(leader goes with something around 23 PPG)
and now
and in NBA live 2008 , it's too high.
can't NBA LIVE has a "MEDIUM" between 2?

ALL I ASK...is a game that will make me feel that i am playing "NBA"
very often i am playing some kinda aliens basketball........by watching how Jason Terry Dunk Over Tim Duncan
or how Richard Hamilton dunk over 3 guys...
and having some totally ridiclious status. . .

I think EA will not release anything for us Pc users... wait until we get a Next-Gen Version of nba live (maybe 09)...

then whats the use of andrews bugs list when ea will not make a patch?

buy a ps3 and live08/2k8 if you want to play realistic basketball.ea doesn't give a damn about pc users.

No word on it yet but I've been sending in info about the problems since we started the issues list and I keep asking about it. As soon as I hear anything I'll be sure to post it.

Not to be a dick... but when was the last Live that got an official patch??? 2001? Oh, right, they had that save stats in online mode patch for 2005... a month the community fixed it... but really... when was the last real patch? 2001????


Madden gets patches once every week or two.

Face it. They need to get a new DEV team for Live.

Wouldn't hurt to have a new one for NHL... but at least NHL is better.

As far as I know some of the latest NBA Live got official patches. What about last year's patch to solve the substitution problem?

Dont waste your money on live 08 next gen its just as fucked up as the rest of them.

Dirk was leading the league in scoring with 48pp.
Kevln Cato was signed by houston and started over Ya.
Boozer was traded to the lakers for luke walton and Vladimir Radmanovic.

plus you cant edit players gear and the player indictator disappears late in games.

If you want a REAL sim game then yeah 2k8 is all that.

Just to add to that, official patches have been released for NBA Live 98, 99, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 07.
